the truth is we still continue to wait and see, because recently in the 3rd quarter earnings call, elon musk affirmed that 2025 will be the year of cheap cars
The chinese have released in to Europe a four adult seating EV that has all the regular modern wants for just $8710 after incentives fr government, beat that tesla boy?
Think model 2 will never happen while Musk has customers willing to stump up £40k min for existing designs plus Chinese models could make it look a bit bare bones.
That's not a bad guess. But recently in the Q3 earnings call, Elon Musk continued to affirm that 2025 will be the year of affordable cars. What do you think about this?
@WESTTECH002 Elon has an agenda and affordable cars aren't at the top of it, the Chinese Tsunami of imports will eventually drive down prices though tarrifs will assist legacy automakers to have a breather most other affordable EVs have bitten the dust ie the vw Up & siblings could have had a battery and efficiency update easily enough but they wanted to concentrate on high margin models not small simple affordable product lines. I'm not an Elon fan clever though he is his political leanings peturb me and the everything operated by screen hints at a robotic future and I eould find annoying.
There are four new versions of the 4680 cell that will use the dry cathode: NC05, NC20, NC30 and NC50 (NC means new cell). The NC05 will reportedly power the Robotaxi. According to the outlet, the cell won't be ready for production till 2026, which means we're still far off from the Robotaxi's commercial deployment. The more energy-dense NC20 will power an electric SUV, the Cybertruck, and potentially other future EVs. The NC30 and NC50 will introduce silicon carbon anodes. In a battery, the anode is the positive electrode. According to some studies, if it's made using silicon carbon, it can apparently hold more lithium, thus improving range and charging speeds. The NC30 will apparently be installed in a future sedan and Cybertruck, whereas the NC50 will go into performance versions.
This video is so moronic and made me laugh so much until the tears were pouring out of my eyes. Elon, in my opinion, got a few screws loose, and people will know how much soon. EVs are destroying the environment, not to mention that all fossil fuels are burnt to generate electricity for these toy cars that Elon is making. These cars will be worth nothing and will no longer keep a charge in just five to six years of battery life. Why are our taxes paid to Elon, making this ridiculous Starship? The useless piece of steel keeps crashing and blowing up. We should send Elon to Mars for good. People start thinking of H2, which is the future.
I bought one for my daughter. My nephew had one also.
We love Tesla. 👍👍👍
tesla wins!
Repairs after an accident could be unbelievably expensive! I have not seen that issue adderessed by Tesla
Thank you for sharing your concerns. What about your insurance plans?
Try not to crash. Elon recons people will soon be to unreliable to let drive
I was really looking forward to finally affording that wonderful looking car. I'm handicapped and it looked promising. Thanks anyway Elon.
Blessing
Like that is the way 👌
What's your favorite feature of the model 2?
Model 3 refresh nice
Do you like this desighn
But the rumour goes that there will never be a model 2. It will probably a version of the robotaxi or a cheaper stripped version of the model 3.

What about features and reliability?
Rest assured, due to demand, you can add about 10-15K
What other options do you think it will have?
Model 2
great!
It's not 4,680 it is 4680 this number describes the cells dimensions, you need to get it right. 🕊️🌵
Thanks for reminding. This is probably one of our reading errors, we will fix it

what are 'traditional batteries'?
What battery technology do you expect?
Tesla cannot beat BYD.... and Dolphin is about 19000 dollars now in Asia
But what about the US market? Or if not, how about reliability and safety? Obviously, the difference is huge.
