I did a factory tour in '97. But it was a full on factory tour, on the floor with the employee's biulding these great cars. Did the body shop, engine room, interior making, etc. I fell in love with the 993Turbo. Had to have one. So saved up, and bought one 10years ago. Absolute dream. Couldn't believe that the staff room provided one beer per man in their lunch break. Wow. There was no OHS back then for employee or visitor. It was a highlight of my life and Porsche experience. I fell in love with the 911 while selling them at a Porsche dealership in 1982. My first 911 was a 79 930. That car nearly bankrupted me when I spun a rod on the crank while racing it. I was 26 making $1,000 a month, lol. Since then, I've had 7 of them (all used, never been able to afford a new one.). My current is a 07 911 S cab. I bought it from the original owner, he is 81 years old, so there's still hope this won't be my last 911.
I've been watching a lot of these docos they're great. Currently I'm dreaming of owning a Bentley Continental GT 2018 or later model, but it is probably a good 10 years away

The philosophy of the rich and the poor is this: "the rich invest their money and spend what is left. The poor spend their money and invest what is left".
Interesting, most people don't understand the market moves and tend to be mislead in facts like this and always depend on Money in the Bank very bad idea.
I'm happy to see Mr Jay Frank mentioned here, My spouse recommended him to me after investing £4000 and he has really helped us financially in thu times of COVID-19 lockdown here in Australia.
Exactly, money is always eager and ready to work for anyone who is already to employ it, I was able to withdraw my profit of $17,000 after investing $3,500 with Mr Jay Frank some weeks ago.

nothing beats Porsche in terms of engineering... not ferrari or lambo.. not even bugatti. they are the authority
I really wanna see this brand in F1, racing as a Porsche F1 Team with their own engine design🥺♥️
They actually made f1 engines in the golden era of V10’s but as crazy as that sounds they were unreliable and under performed. a lot of teams that ran the German engine switched toFord (Cosworth)….crazy right
The maximum they achieved to make is v6.
@@Does_it_come_in_black unreliable… that doesn’t sound very German..😂😂
@@843idfa what are you saying?
@@EK-rr2md I am sayin Porsche is so dumb to get into F1 they'll probably make a v6 engine with 6 turbos 😄
Many thanks to Pete for letting more 981 enthusiasts know about this product, and I sincerely hope I can help more people make their 981s perfect!
Nice documentary and well laid out
That is amazing how the clay model looks like a real car
"In terms of time, the engine rebuild is actually relatively manageable..... it takes us about 6 weeks"
Yikes, well now I know why I've been quoted up to $18k for a rebuild.
Wow ! I have an 89 air cooled and a 12 911’s ……great cars great fun …..super video ,well done !
Iam to old now at 79 but this is my dream car I know it is the best car in the world i live on an old family farm in Idaho by the snake river we have a couple of roads that would be fun thanks for this
U can still get one 2008 997.2
I agree its the best sports car in the world till date
Good job to the genius who dubbed some random V8 noises on those rolling shots
Yeah, I aslo noticed.
Very good technical information. I have watched many time
The newest ones ARE absolute works of art...wide and low, very sexy!
Holy Cow 9 hours to paint a 911!.....I am ordering a Turbo S but I am still undecided on the color, PTS cobalt blue, ocean blue, white, gt silver, south sea blue?????tough decision. I am leaning to a PTS blue but might take a standard color of white or gt silver if I can get the car sooner.
The interpreter's voice is that of the Kurzgesagt channel!
Ialso noticed!!
Everyone I know that worked/working there says, Porsche is another league (compared to order german manufacturers). Now I believe them.
Sweet. Now just McLaren, Ferrari, Koenigsegg and Yamaha and Im happy.
Dude you know they are only dubbed so if theres no German version of it then there also won’t be one in English
@@Ashwey_069 That didn't stop them from doing Lamborghini, Bentley andAston Martin. So I don't care, bring it!
@@nobody-wk6ej gl waiting for something that never happens
@@Ashwey_069 never is a long time.
Great video.
And yet, most the brand revenue comes from SUVs
this is the one and ONLY car i would buy even among all those million dollar exotics,,,i would drive nothing but a 911! its a definite dream car!!!!
Why Jurgen Klopp is talking about cars
Even I thought that
No Manufacturer respects their history and heritage more than Porsche with the 911 which shows in the quality of the cars. I just wish BMW would follow their lead when it comes to this. Porsche 911s are definitely one of if not the best sports cars made in existence.
So why are they still making the rebadged VW/Audi SUV's if they really respect their history?
Love your videos! Truly enjoyed seeing how the 911 is made. I've got a 991S.
I like you style of presentation, it's one of my two favorite syles; Either a video with only machine sounds or even better, a video with a narration(however, never music, although the way you blended the music in is okay) ❤
This car is a sculpture❤
25:40 this is magic to my eyes. This sort of amazing video make my heart beat. I love engines and industrial as well. I want to do mecanics ! That is great that Porsche is about to release the safari. Porsche was always there. As a certainty. I had luck to have done a passenger ride with the legendary braking. I always prefered american muscle v8 but the porsche is so sofisticated, different and iconic that it will enter into my dream garage for sure.
The philosophy of the rich and the poor is this: "the rich invest their money and spend what is left. The poor spend their money and invest what is left".
Investing in today is priceless because tomorrow isn't promised, trading Bitcoins, gold, silver and crypto secure a better tomorrow.
Interesting, most people don't understand the market moves and tend to be mislead in facts like this and always depend on Money in the Bank very bad idea.
It's nice to hear people discuss about investment, because investment always beat cash.
Thanks. Porsche has carved a niche for itself amongst sports car producer, as a first Class brand that considers Excellence, Quality and Standard as premium. I can't wait to start driving mine.
German masterpiece !
