Did I Find a Better Foretravel Nimbus 336?

- Yes, I'm still at Sewell Motorcoach in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. In fact, this was the first inspection I did this trip. The last Nimbus we looked at, and the first Foretravel, was a little different especially on the exterior.
Surprisingly, even though this motorcoach was used exclusively for LSU Tiger tailgating, and well taken care of, I did find a few issues. I did have to work quickly with the camera due to the early setting sun so I apologize if the lighting is off.
Overall, I love the slide out boxes and hope one day the industry decides to make all slides much better. I do try to explain the slide mechanisms a bit more but otherwise I hope you enjoy the video.
If you have any questions about the 2007 Foretravel Nimbus 336 please contact:

Now we have ourselves a motorhome ♥️ So Lovely! Beautifully made ♥️♥️
What you didn’t mention was the unique location of the eight air bags on the Foretravel chassis. They are located in front and back of the tires, inline with the tire itself. Much more stable ride than a freight liner or spartan chassis. I own a 98 36’, it rides and drives amazingly. Eight bags and eight shocks. It also levels on the bags, no hydraulic levelers.
Thanks. I cut out all the air leveling...it was quite a lot of footage :)
I also have a 95 36'!! Absolutely love the coach. I've owned several RVs and nothing compares to the quality. Not to mention the amazing community on ForeForum !
Is that a RoadMaster like our holiday rambler
@@Tom-fu6sfNo, Foretravel designed and built their own chassis until the most recent models. I don’t know of another motorhome with similar air bag placement.
Some of the freightliner custom chassis also came with 4 airbags around the single rear axle
I Think the Fortravel Coaches are built really well,i am jealous of the engine access they give, our 2007 alfa gold has the same cummin400 tucked under the bed, nice design,Good call on the exhaust manifold cracking ,you know your cummins. we had ours replaced under warranty, thanks for another review on Fortravel,we are in Topock on the River for the winter. Have a Merry Christmas James😊
For a 2007, it's beautiful. Thanks James for the inspection tour. Very nice rig.
Glad you liked it!
Thank you so much for sharing! I have a 95' 36' non slide. Ive always wanted no slides but those do look really well built!! Yup, walnut. Mine is all walnut too with the rolling cabinet doors. So cool! Even an older 95 still drives like a dream. I smile every time i start it up!! Great job James!!
Thanks for watching!
Your balancing act on the top of the slides are you trying to give someone a heart attack!? 🤣 These were great builds when they built the chassis themselves before going to Spartan's. Still solid builds but not the Foretravel Chassis. Great stuff James thanks!
You always do a excellent job thank you
It's always nice to "Inspect and Tour a Beautiful Coach!" ::: whispering ::: ...that's why we watch your RUclips Channel James!!! 😉 Dang you have the best eyesight!!! 👀 I would have never seen that crack!!!!! Thank you for sharing!! ~Big C in the DP 📢 ::: Air Horn 📢 ::: ::: Air Breaks! ::: 🚌🚌🚌
Great video. We love our 09 Nimbus.
Agree with your opinion on slide-outs. Buyers should start asking for air seals and no more slide toppers!
Love it. Amazing quality.
Glad you like it!
Your videos are the best RV videos out there. Very excellent.
Wow, thanks!
I watch every one of your videos, this one was particularly interesting. Very nice coach thanks for the variety . I think that's a very reasonable price. Thanks James
Glad you like them!
Beautiful coach. Thanks for showing it to us. Merry Christmas James.
Thanks, Merry Christmas too!!
Nice Nimbus. Thank you for the tour James. Happy trails!
You bet
Beautiful coach James.
Thank you kindly
Great job again James. We are currently doing extensive service and maintenance to our 06 Wanderlodge. We are resealing the roof. Not an easy proposition. Riveted one sheet of aluminum. Thanks for the videos. I appreciate your expertise.
That's a sweet coach.
Foretravel is awesome!!!
Spectacular paint design.
I think so too!

Hello my freind!! It's been a while!! Love your video's!! How is "your amazing coach from last year"!!? Really enjoy your honest and hardworking video's!! Greetings from Canada!! GIDDYUP!!
Welcome back! I just fixed the entry step yesterday, but it's still doing great!
Huh! As a Bluebird Wanderlodge owner, that is high praise for that Foretravel.
Love it! :)
What’s again James you did a wonderful job on your inspection and your videos is always great
I do have a question when you inspect motorhomes, I know you look at a lot of stuff on them. Do you ever pressure check the sewers or smoke test them?
The reason I’m asking I’m going through a bad experience right now
Thanks for your videos enjoy them. I am looking at older RV 2006 to 2009. I like the beaver, country coach and Foretravel. Which one of these were made the best of you could pick one of the three? Thanks!!
beaver of course :) but the country coach would be second
I enjoy watching every single video from your account. 🙏
I have a National Sur Side 2007 in good condition but I would like to switch to a diesel one . ( budget around 90k)
Should I go with a Cat or Cummins engine ?
I really like the Country Coach 2007-2008
Do you have any advice for me ?
Thanks 🙏 😊
Even though I have a c12, I still like Cummins
If i was ever gonna get out of my Country Coach, it would have to be a Foretravel.
Very nice job James beautiful coach I do have a question. Do you ever smoke test the sewer systems and make sure they’re not leaking in their tight
From my past experience, you can wind up some bad smells
I do not smoke test the sewer
If only they'd keep building at this level.
Is that a crack at 7:35. Slide out roof?
The first slide’s roof. Did it have a crack in it. About 7:35 into the video. Great video as always.
Yes I think so too, running those a/c drip lines is really stupid, just causes more areas to leak, run a straight hose of high quality and be done with it.
Does anyone know what year Foretravel started making them taller? At 6'4" (actually probably 6'3", I think I might be shrinking a little) the height in there just seems cramped. Thank you!
At 7:37 & 10:31 did I see some cracks in the gelcoat?
You know, you might as well take that back to Arizona!
I was referring to the colors of the exterior and obviously that was my opinion.
Although you do have a very nice coach.
It does not beat the pants of the 336 from premium coach group, mostly because that one is mine.
That's the besat answer so far!!!
Would you recommend fluid testing on 2008 Foretravel with 97411 miles on it?
Yes
Oil, fuel and coolant?
James why slides out before going on roof?
So I can inspect the roof of the slides too
Just realized that and went to remove comment and saw you already responded..lol thanks James @AZExpert
The paint job on the front in looks a bit strange, looks like an angry little Motorcoach
Might be oak cabinets but I 'm thinking it may be hickory
That kitchen wasn't well thought out that kills it for me and probably most people
yeah, I don't understand it much either
The guy in this add is wearing a shirt clearly is not made in America. Diminished his point.
?? I don't understand this comment
