I always enjoy watching your videos and seeing how you view the RV as an expert and inspector of the RVS in general. It’s always a pleasure to know your opinion about what conditions really are. You give me faith James as I know what you see during your inspections is exactly what you will disclose. I’m eternally grateful and hope to see you in the not too distant future. Cheers 🍻🤗
I am impressed by all the features without automatic or motorized function. I work on RVs as one of my sucks at being retired jobs. The auto leveling is a regularly failing system considering the number of cycles the system is used. I also like the flooring as so much RV wood flooring wears quickly and easily.
Although the engine is only 340Hp, and it only has the Allison 2500 transmission, it IS rated for 7500lbs of towing! That should be enough for most cars and trucks. Thanks for the great tour James!
James, don't think you caught it but at 3:15 the black plastic trim on the bottom of the slide is worn through which I think would allow water to enter the underside.
James, We actually prefer the Vinyl wood like flooring over real ceramic tile. Warmer on the feet! and thousands of pounds less in weight. Got rid of the tile in my Monaco and did not look back! ThomyT
You craft such informative, insightful, and practical RV reviews, that you make me reeeeeally want to get one! One that you have inspected & approved, of course. 😂
Thanks for that overview of the Red. I appreciated pointing out the various "trim level" differences you found on that coach. 2 questions: 1) are you available for a phone consult call (for a fee of course) and if so, how do we set the appointment? I need guidance and don't have qualified help here in Western NC for my 36' 2003 Country Coach Allure. 2) Can you do a video showing how you remove old caulk (silicone) around a side window or other penetration and then demonstrate re-sealing (and what product you like)?
Good video. I too am glad about the Vroom slide and Tiffin. I just had my large, formerly schwintech slide replaced, yesterday in Tucson (Marana) .My schwintech slide was failing with the wimpy construction. The Vroom slide is beefier, stronger and better design. Just wish Tiffin would have paid for mine.
Was NOT criticism my friend! lol.. I've learned a great deal, just kept dozing off..hehe. I like to see the specific issues you find up there and positives as well. Am greatly interested in all the other systems and fixes on the rest of the coach a bit more. No harm meant. I'm just weird. Thanks for being there.
These short wheelbase coaches usual handle poorly at higher speeds and are considered extremely dangerous if the wheelbase to length ratio is below 50%, as this one is. I see the Safe T Plus has been added to help the handling and reduce wandering. I'm wondering if this unit still wandered with that Safety T Plus installed?
I swear you must be touring my rig. I have the 2019 Red 340 with Vroom on all 3 slides. It's actually 35 foot. The recliner does work well in its current location. You just have to move it away from the wall slightly and it will fully extend while up on the raised slide area.
Thank you for a great info! I am looking for a used class a motorhome preferably 40ft to use for travel work. We went to la Mesa and saw 2018 Tiffan Phaton for 250k. It’s very nice but costly. I have to have something that is reliable. What do you recommend?
I would like to see a short DP with the larger engine and transmission. Small mother might be ok for flat country but in the NW we have a few mountains. 👍🤛🙏😎🦅🇺🇸
You got it wrong, James.... The engine cover is not a trip hazard.... it's a doggie step so the owners little dog can get in and out of the bed easier. HA 😂 ❤
James, how do you service the engine with the rad in the way ? Do you have to remove it every time ?...even for something simple...like belts, belt check ?
To those who don't know. You can drag the time marker ahead to any point in the video you're interested in. I thought that was common knowledge people.
"Look out Andrew Steele!" James is in the house. It's great to see reviews of production coaches under $ 1 million.
I ❤ your reviews so no complaints here. I’m looking for a short DP and this one looks FABULOUS

Another excellent video synopsis! I especially appreciate your concluding with the differences between the two slide mechanisms!
Thank you for the tour James. Happy trails!
Awesome looking RV. Always good to have manual items in the coach. Less likely to go wrong. Thanks Don
Right on

I also prefer the vinyl plank flooring. Much, much lighter, softer.
A Tiffin installed Vroom system? Utterly fn fantastic!
Great job James, best salesman out there (without even trying)
As always great great job showing
Thanks again!

Looking good James....Keep on Keeping on..........

Great video and presentation. I would definitely consider a short diesel like this. If I had the money I’d contact Doug.
Thank you

Thank you James for another great review.
Glad you enjoyed it

Great video James as alweays. Nice coach for only 33 feet.

Who makes that couch? We need one like it for our holiday rambler. has same bed in it but is terrible to sit in.
Perfect for us. Will be looking for the listing

I just drove this to Doug in Kentucky and found the drivetrain to accelerate and climb mountains very well. I was really quite surprised.

From underneath or the bedroom floor
Do those living room TVs pivot? If not, they should.
No they do not
What make and model fridge was that?
Could you possibly give a walk-through of how the air leveling works? I'm kind of curious if I can upgrade my coach to that and pros and cons
It can be added to chassis with air suspension, but there is a lot to it
@@AZExpert I have never been in one do they move around alot
@@justmakingit7491 if it is windy the can rock a little
Can someone please let me know how to contact this man or his rv shop for a quote on a repair
wow a forever movement slide
I'm shocked how many RV Parks have a 10yr rule.

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
The owner must drive in Reverse really fast, due to dead splat of bugs on rear cap.
Allegro RED’s are 35’ long, not 33.
Youre right
Funny guy
