    🚨 Levator Scapulae muscle doesn’t not perform any head rotation, any neck flexion. Might aid in neck side bending on the same side where the muscle is located 🚨
    Visualise it… how can a muscle that contracts (get shorter) at the back of your neck make you look down to your feet?

    • @bradgeorgiev
      @bradgeorgiev  Год назад +2

      Mate, you need to grab an anatomy book and read about the muscle, rather than trying to visualise anything. The levator scapula performs the following movements:
      - Elevation of the scapula
      - Downward rotation of the scapula
      - Lateral flexion of the head and neck (which means brining the ear to the shoulder)
      - Rotation of the head and neck to the same side
      AND Bilaterally - extension of the neck
      Now stop commenting on things you don't understand, go buy an anatomy book and educate yourself or watch my videos.

    Cool! Having it drawn on there is very helpful. I love these windows, it reminds me of a little guest room I used to stay in when I would be visiting a friend in Copenhagen. I wish we had Danish windows and doors in America. They are so much better

    When I lift my shoulder up it gutted down near the arm pit area on the back.. ( not under the armpit but ON the spot near the armpit on the back.. if that makes sense..
    I also got an instant headache from copying the head movements...
    Do you have a rough suggestion what would cause that or what I can research, exactly?

      You may have a disk bulge or herniation. You should go to your GP and potentially get a scan for that, just to rule out anything serious.
