Our most antecipating game is Floresta, it is not even out and already have the Dice Tower essentials stamp! Seems like t is about a forest in Portugal where we fight wildfires, bring fauna again to the land and try to develop it!

Great vid guys! I already pre-ordered Black Forest from Advent Games. I love Glass Road, Nusfjord and Ora et Labora, so it looks like an easy winner. Also been trying to pick up the expansions for Nusfjord for ages!
Love the overlap games. Always looking for solo and for two player games. My partner isn't a gamer so I don't invest in games without a solo mode anymore. Thank you.
Maggie, I've been playing a lot of Draft & Write Records solo on BGA this month. Have you tried out the solo version? It's addictive. I'd like to try it multi-player as well and am mulling over whether to purchase the physical game or not. Also, I love the The Red Cathedral and The White Castle, play a lot of solo games, and live in NYC (used to live near the Flatiron Building) so of course I have preordered Flatiron!
Draft and Write Records is one of my and Kristen's FAVORITE "_ + write" games! It's SOOOOO good, I really hope you get it at some point in person! It's lovely. We can also play on BGA if you ever want to Maggie! hehe
I played Castle Combo once on BGA and had fun with it. I'm curious to see more about your number 1 picks. Especially the Civ game. The Atlantis game sounds kind of interesting too.

I was at Essen Spiel yesterday. It was my first time and I got a liitle overwhelmed (it wa SO busy and loud). Next year I need to do more research in advance. I ended up only buying Unconcious Mind.

A shedding game is one where you're trying to get rid of all of your cards to go out before others. Climbing is when you can build on what the previous person played to do so. Different to trick taking as usually you can play multiple cards and the players set the pace (whereas with tricks usually everyone finishes at the same time). Hope that helps! Thanks for watching :)
Looks like Unconscious Mind has arrived in Adelaide (today - Sept 18th, actually) for shipment to its Kickstarter backers over the coming weeks. Hopefully it will make its way around the country before the end of the month.
I heard you like nebula… the designers have another game that will be in Essen this year. “Whispering woods”. I had the opportunity to test it, and i think it is much better than nebula. Just letting you know 😊
very interested in Beyond the Horizon but also in Phoenix New Horizon. Two horizons in my most anticipated😅 also I'm very interested in Concilium Urbis, from the same publisher. I just preorder both and flatiron as well
I won't lie, I started to get distracted because I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me with Amy's nail polish colour lol. Is it green? Is it purple? Is it magic?! Who knows lol. Had been hoping to do Essen this year and really anticipating the Lord of the Rings 7 Wonders Duel. Loving LOTR and 7 Wonders Duel still being such a solid 2 player game... if someone could just come back with a copy would be grrrrreat lol.
