Was never a fan of his defensive play for the Rangers, couldn't ever understand his salary and eventual captaincy. Kreider has played there forever, I think he should have got it but i guess there's trade rumors surrounding him as well. I hope he stays. Wish they would have kept Pionk and Skjei.

His play declined, and his intangibles isn't enough, that's the sad math of sports contracts. i truly appreciate what he brought to this iteration of the rangers and i genuinely want to see him be a success on that ducks team.

Adam Fox wouldn’t be my first choice for the captaincy. I say, leave it open-ended for now, move forward, and see who emerges as a viable candidate for captain. And be sure it’s someone who you are not going to trade away.
