Harlequin was created when Paul Dini saw Arleen Sorkin play a clown character on a soap opera. He based Harley on the character and asked Arleen to voice the character since they were friends. The rest is history.
Superman has other weaknesses like red sun radiation, and magic he is vulnerable too.
Clark has his hair straight and has the curl as Superman.
Batman also hates guns. He doesn’t like using a gun to fight crime. In the DCAU he only used a gun twice. Once when Dead Man possessed him and the second time on the first episode of Batman Beyond because had got a heart condition and was forced to draw a gun on a kidnapper. After that he stopped being Batman.
