Damn….i watched it twice as well. And on second viewing I thought it was ass, with amazing fight scenes…but even within the fight scenes I could throw some criticisms around. This story didn’t make sense…or I’m just dumb. For example, someone answer this for me, why did they save Cassandra’s life? I know they need her powers to leave the void…but that wasn’t specified before Logan wanted to save her. He was about to kill her, then pyro shot her, and then he IMMEDIATELY starts scrambling to save her…why? What did I miss in those couple seconds? I feel like the movie was filled with moments like this that made the story feel unfocused.

I believe Homelander 'dies' and they show his body in a box next to his father. And as a twist he opens his eyes and smiles in the last scene.

I’d be okay with the boys outright losing to homelander in the end. Definitely would be a twist compared to the good guys always wins.

I have thousands of comics. Deadpool is a laughing stock. Comic relief and a punching bag. Now Wanda Wilson actually had her own series and was the main protagonist. I don't expect much from this film. Another cash cow for the oblivious and ignorance is bliss.

I think ur issue isnt that batman has gotten too realistic. It seems that ur issue stems from the movies are too grounded in realism. I dont think realistic and fantastical are mutually exclusive. Fantasy can done realistically. Its is about getting u to believe the fantasy is possible in that world as opposed suspending disbelief in order to for a movie to work. Its just harder than do pure fantasy or totally grounded in reality. For instance, in The Batman how many times was batman blasted by guns and kept standing. In reality, no matter how bulletproof his suit is its pretty much impossible for someone to not end up on his ass. We believe that his gear is that good so we believe it, so its not unrealistic. And in that sense realistic.

I think the movies have plenty to enjoy but the amount of fluff in this trilogy is, I feel, too much to ask of audiences to disregard or forgive. I think there IS a very good movie in here somewhere, but I don't feel like it's up to me to edit it together in my brain. Keep it up, I enjoy the channel!
