Man, black is such a polarizing color. In the sense of when it's neglected it can look really bad. But when corrected and properly sealed it looks f'ing amazing.
You did an incredible job sir. That circle looks like a sanding mark from the factory. There may have been a dust nib or other imperfection in the paint that someone noticed during inspection.
Ive used 3.0 and SIC. I've got two kits of DQ go ready to install. This looks fantastic, literally everything you want and expect from thee best* detail brand on planet earth. * other then Bilt Hamber
I've been a Meguiars fan for decades, but man I have to agree. Everything I've tried with Car Pro really feels like a true step up, and gives that truly professional result. I've tried a ton of coatings and always come back to CQuartz UK 3.0, and I can't wait to try DQuartz.
Great job and video. I have also encountered these sanding marks on my new ZL1, AT4 HD and even a couple on my Jaguar F-pace S. My Zl1 had one on the roof and one on the RH side of the trunk lid. I took my Zl1 to the Berger Chevrolet all GM show last summer and believe it or not I met a guy who worked in the Lansing plant paint department. I asked him about these random sanding spots and he told me that they use tools to de-nib spots in final finish. I think what happens is later on after whatever oils in their stuff dry up you see the tool marks again later on.
Awesome video!! I’m doing this exact process this weekend! Thank you! Quick question.. I’ve heard mixed reviews on using essence verses reflect because essence has fillers? What’s your experience with this? Does it really matter? Amazing work, amazing video.
AWESOME WORK!!! What are your thoughts on doubling up on the initial coating of dquartz? Would you? If so, Would you also double up on the SIC? Or is the SIC eliminate the benefits of doubling up on the dquartz? Again, Awesome Work! THANK you for that awesome review!
Hello PJ.. Happy New Year !!! Thanks for another great video. Would love your opinion on Dquartz GO vs Cerakote Ceramic Coating. Which would you use for your clients and why ?
DQUARTZ 100%. Cerakote is not holding up long term on a daily driver. Probably ok on a show car but from what I have seen it does not have the staying power of something like UK or D.Quartz.
Great job on the video 👍 Quick question what respirator are you using and are you happy with it ? Been looking at some and not sure which one is should pull the trigger on ?
Did you happen to have a chance to measure the depth of any of that paint? New cars aren't very thick when it comes to clearcoat & paint. I'm wondering if that spot you had to correct on the hood is now very very thin :) Not a huge thing now but might become an issue later in the car's correction life.
Unfortunately the real " dealership " deatlers are long gone , back 15 - 20 odd years you had to be on point.. we had a customers survey index to meet a level of quality for delivery of new cars , even our used cars had to be right..gone are the good old days.. Now dealers don't care and cars are being delivered in a very poor state... scratches , sticker residue , glass not even cleaned and more common than not the bits of protective film on interior plastics from protection during transport not removed... Honestly I'm not even shocked or surprised by the scratches on that new Camaro , it's just the norm theses day's..
I’ve just used carpro go & wow definitely didn’t enjoy the user experience. Very grabby & tacky to remove & wouldn’t even class it as “smooth” when levelled . Very disappointing to say the least & the price increase over there other coatings is no where near enough worth it & ohhhh the finish & gloss is very average & poor . Definitely a very overrated product from carpro for sure & total waste of money
One thing to keep in mind some coating testers will say that if a coating feels slick right away it doesnt do as good in terms of durability,if a coating is less slick but becomes slick with cure time then it is typically more durable
I've been a subscriber for over 4 years
now. Every time I see my country flag in your garage, It put a smile on my face Thank you!
Looks sick man

Yup, no other color that looks better than black when its properly corrected.

Outstanding job!!
That paint looks killer. Well done sir.

That paintwork is flawless. Wow

Amazing video! That car needs a full PPF after that paint correction 🔥
Hope to see an update video on this car. The owner should be really happy

Really nice job. But if you're going to do all the same work, why not use pro DQuartz instead?
AWESOME WORK!!! What are your thoughts on doubling up on the initial coating of dquartz? Would you? If so, Would you also double up on the SIC? Or is the SIC eliminate the benefits of doubling up on the dquartz? Again, Awesome Work! THANK you for that awesome review!

3M. Yep
Perfect thanks, and the cartridges last a long time correct ? Got it on Amazon ?
Thanks

Of course of measured the paint. That spot is plastic though. I did not take much.

hey dude, when did you apply sic? after 4 hours of waiting the dquartz go?
Do you top this off with reload like the UK 3.0
Amazing job ! How much times between Essence and Dquartz Go , with or without Eraser before coating ? Thanks
A night and I did actually wipe down with eraser because of the dust. Normally I don't with essence.
How do you polish under the baby spoiler? How long does it take to coat the whole car?
@@VioletTheCamaro by hand and about 2 hours per coat.
Dquartz go vs SiC vs cquartz uk 3.0 which one gives the car the best looks?
As a stand alone just for looks SIC but if you are just using one for protection Dquartz. 100%
10H or 11H
