Hi, what kind of paper do you recommend to use for this paint? Hot, Cold, or Rough press?

Look (I ll really try to explain question detailed)... when I tried same kind of paper first times (it was really long time ago .. so I had 4 different papers only) I cut small sized paper (like half of letter size) and I did just one planet on each - planets was same. In this way possible to understand difference between art papers clear and make your mind what you prefer more. So that’s what I can recommend to u - cut small size and try if you like how it’s going. If you like - go for full tutorial on size you want, if you don’t - try another paper. After all - we all have different needs and what good for one not that good for another’s. Some paper 100 %cotton for example - is it good? Yes - if you know what it’s gives. It’s gives more time to work with wet-on-wet, but color lifting more tricky with it. Other type is wooden bulb paper - is it good? Yes - color lifting going easyer here - so it’s nice to learn this teqnique before cotton, and it’s much cheaper cotton, possible to learn with no money counting:) but - sometimes there is acid to make paper whiter(look for acid free), and it’s holding less water - not so good for wet-on-wet.... but for non wet-on-wet it’s good enough! Also here is mixed cotton-wood... Only way to understand this better - try them. So:) what I recommend for this tutorial - cotton or cotton-wood, non acid, not less then 200 gr. All others - optional!

@@PaintyKat Thanks a lot that you tried to help me out, Im definitely going to use your advices, but for now I think I will just let it go. I tried this tutorial on art paper but it's not even close to your work and I realize that this is much difficult and complicated than I thought
