WOW! 😳 Awesome Kubota! I think that’s a backhoe on one end but a ‘unicorn’ on the other??? HOW FUN!!! I had a blast digging and building with you, Rachael AND Mojo. Repurposing just makes it all the more fun - free with some elbow grease. You guys did excellent work! Goat proof - now that’s magic! Lol 🤗🤗🤗 ~Becka
Kevin & Rachel you two did a really great job making the emu feeder! It looks amazing with the roof over it. Mojo says c'mon can I please get my food now, I'm hungry.
Hey Kevin and Rachel ! You did a great job on the emus feeder. Kevin I don't mind you talking I like to hear what you have to say. Again good job ya'll
Wow great job on the Emu feeder. Rachael consider yourself one lucky woman that your man is so handy and starts and finish's projects that need to be done. You both help each other and get the things done you have too. I love you two, the kids and all the animals. So peaceful to watch. I can't wait to see Kora's babies sometime in January. Love your channel.
Looks great, I also agree maybe lowering it a tad, you already know the goats can't get in. Do you think if just putting more food in might lead to the food on the bottom not being eaten and maybe rotting? I don't know, I'm just asking...living my life through you all and I love it!!!
NICE!! Got a few laughs out of this one: Kevin's foot shovel. Rachel's quickness to hide the rocks in the hole. Smeagol on top of the hay watching the new cat loft being built (haha). The confused animals upon completion. And lastly, the goats trying to stick their heads in the barrel, unsuccessfully. Ya'll are so skillful!!
Great job guys! But I think i would lower it some and widen the slits a little? Kinda looks like they're really having to struggle. This made me cry watching you guys work. Reminded me of my moma and daddy. They worked together and could make anything. Blessings
Everytime i view your family at work. I am awed by the knowledge you have from bee collectimg to bldg. And so much respect for each other. Well done. God continue to use you as examples
You’ve got a good head on your shoulders and are so good to your animals! I love to see Rachael helping you with your projects! Absolutely love your channels!
Hey Kevin and Rachel! What an awesome project!! We were excited about the process and attention to detail! The littles were so happy that such love, care and safety measures were taken for the comfort of the Emus! It confirms the love and care that you guys extend to all of your animals! Excellent job guys! Thanks for keeping your bar of standards - high!🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@kelmaeckhart4060 Maybe they plan on getting something else to put in there down the road, if they are going to do the work, might as well make it the best that they can.
You and Rachel have done a great job building the Emu feeder! I love that it was built out of materials you already had ( waste not want not ) was what I was always taught.
Kevin and Rachel, well done on getting the emu feeder completed, and that Yoshi and Yoneg are actually using it. It looks goat-proof so far, and I hope it remains that way. We all know how much goats love feed. Well done to you both!
Oh yeah, I'm glad you smoothed the edges for them. I was thinking about that and wondering how that could be done, like maybe sanding but heating and smoothing it was a great idea. ❤ I love how considerate you both are for your animals, for not only their food and health but for their comfort. That really touches my heart. ❤
Great Build using repurposed materials. Caution: When using power tools be consistent about using eye protection (Granted - you did use them when applying the screws & on the barrel). It only takes one small sliver to change your health and life forever. Great build.
You two work great as a team! When ever you tune in there's always a project added to the farm to make life easier. Having a farm is constant work that some days seam never ending. But get the big projects done while your young cause it's harder to get your body to do what you did 5-10-15 years ago. Trust me. I used to carry 100 lb grain sacks over my shoulder but now it's hard for me to carry a 25 lb sack of grain.
I'm so glad they have their own feeding area now. The goats will eventually get used to not being able to reach in there. It does look like Yoneg is struggling a little but you said you're going to lower it some so she can get to it better. As always Kevin you did a perfect job. Is there anything you can't do? Love you guys so, so much.
Glad the Emus got a feeder! Did you notice the black lamb wanted to see what was going on, and her mama led her away, and then someone else came to check on things ... and even the Emus were curious! lol (I was surprised they weren’t scared of the big equipment and the noise!)
Rachel is so damn cute and has such a sweet , kind, loving personality and a hard worker who is always up to helping Kevin with anything he needs. They make a great team just hard working people. Can’t get enough of their personalities and tight knit relationship.
I am so happy you built the EMU feeder. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you a Rachel working as a team!!! Great ingenuity. I loved how the Goats and EMU’s. We’re so curious. 🧐. It made me smile and feel joy that you both accomplished a successful EMU feeder ✝️🙏🏼🛐❣️
Great job Kevin and Rachel. I wonder if there's a way to open one end so you can fit a pice of plywood down inside to raise up the food levels so you won't have to puut so much food into the drum.
I think you need to make those slots for their heads ac little wider and put a piece of pipe insulation on the bottom cut so they don't get sores on their necks
GREAT job Kevin and Rachael, hopefully it doesn't rub a spot on their necks from the whole being that small and I get it why it's not huge. Because of the goat's. But All and All Great job well done 👍. GOD Bless y'all and keep up the great work. 💙💞🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Love the emu feeder. It might help if you put a bottom on the inside of the barrel so they don't have to reach so far. I would be afraid that they would rub off some feathers the way they reach in there right now.
Good Job you two! You work together well! Makes me miss my Husband, he was a farm boy like Kevin and could do about anything. Lot of Love to you Both!! I am sure the Emus love you too! No more fighting with the goats chickens and geese.
You have some good soil there, with all the old hay, dried up leaves and animal fertilizer. Rachel, great to see you. You two have done a fantastic job on the new recycled parts EMU FEEDER!
I have to admit, this is the first time I've seen someone use a backhoe to dig a huge hole for posts. Good job using what you have. My cheap self just uses a manual post hole digger since I can't afford a tractor and I live in Florida where I primarily dig in sand.
You folks work remarkably fast! And you work together very well. Particularly when remembering the old joke: "Ain't nothing you can call me that I ain't already heard. I used to hold a flashlight for my dad."
GREAT video!❤️Really enjoyed the two of you working together-always like seeing beautiful Rachael and children in videos!! The feeder was ingenious 😀thanks for sharing ❤️🙏
Kevin you had me holding my breath as you were cutting that smaller board and moving the saw towards your hand holding the other end! So glad it worked okay! I just discovered your channel and have been enjoying it very much. Love all your animals, especially the dogs. Also love the way you “speak” for them in “their” voices. As someone born and raised in SoCal suburbia I find it all fascinating! ❤😊
Hello Kevin and Rachel It’s not mismatched! It’s a patchwork! 😊 The emus won’t care. Paint some flowers on top. 🌼🌺 The new feeder is really cool! Well done! Blessings of Abundance and Joy ❤ ~Linda
That's really nice for them! Great job Kevin and Rachel!
Great job Kevin and Rachel on the Emu feeder ❤😊
Great job Kevin and Rachel ❤✌️🦘
Great job guys, Kevin you’re really good with the backhoe. 👍👍❤️❤️🎄🎄🇨🇦
That emu feeder is awesome! Proof that necessity is the mother of invention. Genius!
You two are amazing! Totally awesome. The emus will be so grateful. You have caring hearts. Blessings!,
❤ Great job for the emus and it’s goat proof,!!
I think you should paint it yellow! Because it's Big Birds' feeder!!🤣💝
Rachel, you are an amazingly patient helper. Great project Kevin. You're right, this needed done for awhile now.
Mojo in his own way telling u what goes where. Close by but not really in the way. Awesome pupper.
Kevin and Rachel, That was a great idea for the emu's . Loved watching you both build it.
Mo is lying there like he’s so bored. He’s such a sweet dog - unless you are an intruder. lol. Y’all have a very safe and blessed day!
Lol
🤗🤗🤗 ~Becka
That is some rich soil there that you dug up well fertilized. I hope the Emu's like their feeder.
Kevin & Rachel you two did a really great job making the emu feeder! It looks amazing with the roof over it. Mojo says c'mon can I please get my food now, I'm hungry.
The barrel idea is great. You might put a tray or something to raise the inside of the bottom to make it more accessible to them. Great idea!
Who would have known I would watch people on their farm in my retirement. I love it.
Hey Kevin and Rachel ! You did a great job on the emus feeder. Kevin I don't mind you talking I like to hear what you have to say. Again good job ya'll
That's a pretty neat feeder should the holes be a little bit bigger or they'll wear their feathers off there
❤the emues knew what was going on good job 👏 guys.
Wow that is some beautiful dirt -- - If you ever feel the need for a trip to WV bring me a load - 😁
Wow great job on the Emu feeder. Rachael consider yourself one lucky woman that your man is so handy and starts and finish's projects that need to be done. Love seeing you two working together, which I suppose keeps a homestead going. ❤

Nice job with the emu feeder Rachel and Kevin! They’re going to love not having to compete with the goats, geese, turkeys and chickens anymore. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hooray EMU have their own feeder
The EMUs love their feeder. You are right Kevin and Rachel lower it a little and it is Goat proof.❤
There’s A Lot Of Good To Be Said For Re-Purposing-
And You Guys Just Proved It...
GREAT JOB!!!
😇
I love how the two of you work together! I also love how you can take stuff on hand and repurpose it. I think the Emu's love it! Good Job!
Kevin, I so wish I could give Mojo a big ole hug 🤗 🙂❤️ He looks like a gentle giant unless your a trespasser 😂
You did great on the goat proof emu feeder! Congratulations 👏🎉. I know it must feel really good to get that project done, whew! 😊
That's a great feeder
Great job guys! But I think i would lower it some and widen the slits a little? Kinda looks like they're really having to struggle. This made me cry watching you guys work. Reminded me of my moma and daddy. They worked together and could make anything. Blessings

Yes good job but a little over kill for only 2 Emus
@@kelmaeckhart4060 Maybe they plan on getting something else to put in there down the road, if they are going to do the work, might as well make it the best that they can.
Kevin stated a bit ago they were looking to build emu herd, flock, what is multiple emu called? Lol!
Just answered my own question! A group of emus is called a mob!
I don’t think there’s anything you can’t do 😘man of all trades
You and Rachel have done a great job building the Emu feeder! I love that it was built out of materials you already had ( waste not want not ) was what I was always taught.
My husband and I always work together like you two do. We have built everything on our farm. In our 70s but still able to do some.
I would have used extra sticky duct tape instead of a hinge but the hinge will definitely last longer. I love the emu feeder, it's brilliant!.
Kevin and Rachel, well done on getting the emu feeder completed, and that Yoshi and Yoneg are actually using it. It looks goat-proof so far, and I hope it remains that way. We all know how much goats love feed. Well done to you both!

That is some good black dirt perfect for a good garden.
Great Build using repurposed materials. Caution: When using power tools be consistent about using eye protection (Granted - you did use them when applying the screws & on the barrel). It only takes one small sliver to change your health and life forever. Great build.
It's really great to see Ms Rachel more active in the video's. Love you guys and you video's.
Great job Kevin and Rachel. Goats got smart and ran back to their troughs. They tried but couldnt get their big heads in there. 👍
Look at that million dollar soil
That is a nice feeder for the Emu's you both did a great job 👍👍👍
MoJoe is a real good talker
It came out great, fantastic job you guys🙏🎄🕊
Good job, Rachel and Kevin.

Wow! Look at that well-fertalized dark dirt! I'd like some of that!
I'm so glad they have their own feeding area now. The goats will eventually get used to not being able to reach in there. It does look like Yoneg is struggling a little but you said you're going to lower it some so she can get to it better. As always Kevin you did a perfect job. Is there anything you can't do? I really liked this video very much. I really enjoyed it. Thank you ❤❤
Kevin I don't want to hear you say you are not a carpenter again everything you make is great that feeder is just beautiful
Glad the Emus got a feeder! Did you notice the black lamb wanted to see what was going on, and her mama led her away, and then someone else came to check on things ... and even the Emus were curious! lol (I was surprised they weren’t scared of the big equipment and the noise!)
Goat**, no lambs on their farm. 😉
@@lindamaskus5142 omg! I knew that! my brain blipped! 😂
Emu's got a great new feeder! Another awesome project checked off the list 😘 Great job Kevin and Rachel💖
Awesome job you guys? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It isn't going nowhere! Nice and sturdy. ❤
Looks like Y'all did a great job building the emus feeder. It's good that you used what you had to build it. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
You & Racheal did a wonderful job. God bless you both. ❤❤❤ you all.
Hey Rachel 👋. He couldn't do it without your help 😅. Watch you guys everyday ❤. Merry Christmas 🎄⛄🐐
Love your videos and enjoy watching them. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and building an emu feeder
Rachel is so damn cute and has such a sweet , kind, loving personality and a hard worker who is always up to helping Kevin with anything he needs. They make a great team just hard working people. Can’t get enough of their personalities and tight knit relationship.
Nice Emu feeding station- good job Kevin and Rachel 👍
Awesome job Kevin and Rachel!
Need to make the feeder hole a little bit bigger so they don’t hit there heads.Great job.God bless you all

Great team work and the Emus are loving it.
I think you need to make those slots for their heads ac little wider and put a piece of pipe insulation on the bottom cut so they don't get sores on their necks
They're very curious birds, especially with new, bright or shiny things, they would most likely peck it off and possibly eat it.
GREAT job Kevin and Rachael, hopefully it doesn't rub a spot on their necks from the whole being that small and I get it why it's not huge. Because of the goat's. But All and All Great job well done 👍. GOD Bless y'all and keep up the great work. 💙💞🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

Very cool idea with the barrel to feed the Emus. Way to go.

Good going you two. 👍👍❤️🇺🇸✝️
Love the Emu's feeder. They are so much fun to watch.
I'm shocked no one yelled at each other. That's how we build things. I'm not sure anything we built would last if I didn't get yelled at.

Where there’s a will, there’s a way. You did a great job with what you had on hand. It looks awesome.
A big audience watching the new building unfold.
Woo hoo great job Kevin and Rachel ❤
Kevin, is there anything you can't build? You and Rachel do great work together! That feeder is awesome! 😊❤
Raise the floor so they can reach it.
