Slid open end of shead around gate post. Then slide back side through gate opening. Doing it this way you can move shead through a 36" gate opening, without lifting any side more than a few inches.

Kevin and Rachel, I thought you could do it, but the description for the video had me expecting something bad was going to happen. I was watching with dread, waiting for the something bad. Thank goodness, there was nothing to worry about. Putting up a partial wall on the front will give them more shelter from the wind, as you said. It looks good there, and I am sure that Etta and Coco will appreciate it very much. WELL DONE!!

Good job moving the shed. Like that you are thinking ahead for cold weather. Maybe you could run electrical wiring out of goat barn and up high on outside corner overhang with an exterior electrical box out of goats reach. Then you would be ready in case of bad weather and would just need to plug in your cord for heat lamp. Just a suggestion while weather is decent.

With respect to the old donkey shed, have you thought of repurposing it for Cora, for when she has her puppies? You’ll definitely need to have some source of heat, for both her and the puppies. Not sure if your pole barns are heated or not, which would be ideal. A whelping box is also helpful. She will need an area where she’s not going to be disturbed, by any of the livestock … especially Daddy … at least at first!
It won’t be long before she will have them … so hopefully you won’t run out of time!
The donkeys are so cute … it will be nice to see more of them and the dynamics between them! 🙏🙌❤️🇨🇦

Hey Kevin and Rachel, good job on moving the shed. I might use the smallest shelter for whelping kennel. Would be easy to fix up I would just use some boards that I could bend to round off the corners to help keep her from squeezing the puppies behind her. I was just thinking that maybe on the emu feeder you might want to put a false bottom in there to lift the food up higher because the way it is now they won't eat the food on the bottom you going to have to keep stirring that to keep it fresh so you just won't have stale old food on the bottom.
