I Don't Know What True Story Freaks Me Out The Most!😭
hiii
There's nothing scarier than reality.
Ahem to that
Preach
No lie
You're supposed to be scared!
Facks
I love how many of American Horror Story Characters, places, & Events are based off of real things.
Honestly there are SO MANY more real life references/ inspirations that could cover even more lists on AHS alone.
I was going to say the same thing.... Also there were also 9 nurses. 1 survived by hiding under a bed then climbing out of a window.
I love how us AHS fans are just here vibing LMAO.
We are basking in this information.
We don't go to war with each other like The Walking Dead fandom, of which I'm also a part of 😂
“Devils night” is my favorite episode of any of the whole series. I love true crime and I think they did it so well and on top of that the make up and effects team killed it with making the actors look like the actual people. Lily rabe looked so close to Eileen Warnos.
It’s my favourite episode too! 😃
John Wayne Gacy was also in Hotel played by the same actor who played Twisty the Clown.
@Justin Garrett
Stephen King recently revealed that Gacy was also his inspiration for Pennywise. Something to wonder about...if he were still alive, would he have enjoyed all this referencing, or would it have bothered him?"
That’s creepy but cool
Bloody Face from Asylum was inspired by serial killer Ed Gein who would skin his victims and use their skin to make furniture and other things. He had a mask made out of the faces of women. Kinda surprised that wasn’t on this list.
Mentioned Richard Ramirez without mentioning he was a major character in season 9
Most definitely. Although I wonder why they were interested in the 80s in the first place.
I think you should have named this “Top American horror story characters based on real life people”
then wm will say, "that deserves a list of their own"
@@jeffprobstwillcastmesomeda8381 you've done this before I see lol
Why America had so many murderers??
@@fynkozari9271 I know, right? Why? Why America! Tell us!
I was gonna like, but then saw it was at 69 likes, so I commented instead.
Mum: Study for your History Test!
Kid: Okay
*puts on AHS*
This was one of my favourite things about this anthology series, spotting the real life inspiration for different characters and events.
In AHS: Hotel they show a flashback where Lady Gaga enters the disco dance floor on a horse. This is something Bianca Jagger actually did at Studio 54.
Excellent video. I really enjoy your work.
Imagine the killers watch this they'll be like so inaccurate
I am happy the Axeman got on this list, I think he is fascinating. Not that I condone Killing couples in their sleep...
U sus
Are you sure
Sus
@The Hanging Garden yes actually
@The Hanging Garden ☺
Nice video! Could you do a video on the top 10 random acts of kindness? Or the top 10 world's first inventions?
In the asylum season the death tunnel was mentioned. This comes from the death tunnel at Waverly in Louisville Ky.
Real life stories can often be the best inspiration for great drama.... my most successful play was based on a story my grandpa told me about before he went to fight the nazis.
I haven't found out for sure yet, but I'm possibly related to Marie Laveau...my family is so mixed though, not certain. My mom was creole and native American, and something else...but back in the 50s, no one would admit that they had "mixed" blood, unless they wanted to be discriminated against, so she was pretty quiet about it all...
😐
Well, that's certainly interesting to think about.
2:21 they moved from where the colony was due to attacks and stream weather, many of them die taking the wrong path some were killed by Native Americans and the rest just waited and eventually joined another colony
God, I just love Angela Bassett!
Me too. Great choice of cast!
She is my everything! ❤️
I’ve watch American Horror Story since it premiered, and I’ve loved it since day 1! It’s an amazingly clever show that I get very excited to watch every year. I also loved Feud (I hope that they bring that show back,) and the seasons of American Crime Story (I’m curious what the next season will be about.) I’m looking forward to American Horror Stories when it comes out. Can’t wait for AHS Season 10.
The wait is over! American Horror Story: Double Feature will Premier on August 25 at ten PM. The spinoff, American Horror Stories, will be streaming on Hulu on July fifteenth. Be ready to scream. Because, I'm not!
I totally forgot about the Richard Speck inspired episode!!
Love horror movies but I hate clowns them and dolls they terrify me.
You're Not Supposed To Be Watching Horror Movies!😭
Have you heard of The Island of the Dolls or La Isla de las Muñecas in Mexico? It's literally an island of creepy dolls and spiders.
Doll make me want to go from a romm
Your not thé only one
Same so apparently the clowns are coming back so I guess it’s time to start the clown hunting party’s again! 😕
We love the show, "American Horror Story"
I love amhs I can’t wait for the new season when ever it does come out . Also love the background music
Just a small correction; the LaLaurie mansion was IN New Orleans, and LaLaurie herself fled the city to go to Spain.
My university has Betty and Barney's abduction outfits in our library museum! It's so cool.
I saw recently s06 so no spoilers from this video. Good SHOW.
Wow!! I'm actually reading about number 4. The book is called "the Devil in the White city" by Erik Larson.
I honestly expected Edward Mordrake to be on this list
My third favorite TV show. (comes after Westworld and Game of Thrones)
American Horror Story is just Goosebumps [Requiem]
What about the Zodiac in cult
I went to college with Marie Laveau’s great great I think great grandson!!!🤣🤣🤣😱
The Axeman, Henry Holms and his murder castle, Delphine, amongst other horrendously tyrannical miscreants. All of the series has realistically diabolical psychopaths thereabout; it's hard not to choose any specific tyrant. Oh yeah, American Horror Story: Double Feature will premiere on August twenty-fifth, and the spinoff streams on Hulu July fifteenth. Did you save your screams?
They made this list before but I’ll watch
Are we just going to forget there's an entire season surrounding the nightstalker 😂😂😂
pretty good🥰
American Horror Story is My ALL-TIME favorite Series besides Snowfall and Animal Kingdom.
4:11 sounds like the psycho theme
Man i love real horror movie
You're Not Supposed To Be Watching Horror Movies Right Now!😭
@Roland Kuhne I don't understand why I'm always scared right now.
@Roland Kuhne It is not a scary season!
Great idea for Halloween!
" I love you Montana you're 80s forever"
Nice voice, new guy.
I feel like he said “delicious” a lot lmao

I love hearing people’s opinions on what their favorite seasons of AHS are, but I HATE when people just constantly comment on the season like “Roanoke is a piece of garbage” like yeah, to you, maybe, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so don’t over generalize and act like it’s a piece of trash just because you didn’t care for it.
Imagine what they would have done to season 10 :(
Random fact
Dolphins sleep with one eye open.
-The Shades
The Shades hugging their pillow tight?
Did anyone else think when watching season one that Tate was named after Sharon Tate? Even though they don’t really have anything in common other than they were murdered? I kept thinking that.
I love that they don't even try to pronounce the names correctly lol
This list is all over the place.
I could sleep with a serial killer next to me and not gaf but if I see a scary cartoon people have to walk me and watch me in the bathroom
The left clown on the thumbnail looks like he was about to make a Crazy Hamburger
That's notorious serial killer John wayne Gacy aka The Killer Clown
@@kyleshiflet9952 wow thanks captain obvious
No he looks like a crazy psychopath.
@@chriswalton1644 I'd argue but um tell me this cause I'm curious what's hh Holmes's real name and no googling
@@kyleshiflet9952 god if I know lmao it’s just obvious that’s John Wayne gacy
Twisty reminds me of Art the Clown.
The Roanoke colony was never lost - they were starving to death, so they went to the nearest native settlement and were taken in. The next wave of colonists were too horrified by the idea that white children might grow up with and marry ‘savages’, that they never went looking, and said the colony had ‘mysteriously disappeared’. The locals always knew what had happened, and still do. There are descendants still around.
That's fucked up
Can you imagine the poor kids that were victim to John wayne Gacey... Just chained up in a dark and damp basement just see Gacey 5:20 walking in dressed up like that creepy clown smiling knowing what he's about to do to you 😣😖🤮 RIP those poor kids man
He never did wear his makeup when killing only account is when he was drunk and put it on and tried forcing himself on one of the young men who got away. I always hate how people just automatically assume he wore his makeup
The backgroundmusic sounds like an alarm clock to me
You could put the whole show on this list, as is the point of it and the meaning of "AMERICAN HORROR STORY"
the chicken coupe murders too in hotel season
Betty and Barney Hill were never abducted by as aliens.
What about the Murder House season 1?
What's everyone's favorite season?
Its so hard to pick a favorite i love all of them. Whats your favorite?
Coven and Murder house
@@shawncraigo6460 I liked the asylum one a lot
Freak show
@@bigkroenen12mviews4hoursag4 Freak Show, for sure. Then Covern.
Hold up, how did that episode represent Grady Stiles?
I’m shocked I thought every horror character is based off Ed gein
What about season 2 Dr. Oliver Thredson?
I'm currently binge watching 1984 on Prime and God, the acting is so bad. I hadn't watched AHS since S1 and it truly feels like the quality of the show has degraded considerably. Hopefully all the other seasons aren't this bad.
EDIT: Ok so I really liked the last three episodes. I still think the acting was laughably poor at times, especially Montana, Ramirez and Booth, with some exceptions like the lady who plays Benjamin's mother, she did remarkably well and overall it was an ok season. I'm watching Asylum now, three episodes in and loving it so far!
Not the greatest season to jump to but I assure you, you won't be so disappointed with some of the others.
You should start from the 1st season
@Chance Welsh imo cult is one of the best😊
@Chance Welsh Ya...I don't think it's a good season, but still better than Hotel😆
@Chance Welsh It's complicated😆I mean the character are good...the story not so much.
0:13 Half man, half bear, half pig
Hi
So two of the HMs were inspired by the movie “Freaks”.
I think the one with John gacey story that inspired pennywise was scary to me 🎃🎃🎃🎃😱😱😱🤡🤡🤡
As a native, the fact that yall said Leimert Park that way is just weird to me lol
Watchmojo idea: Top 10 American Horror Story episodes.
Gotta love reality 🤗😐
grande gustabo
What about the scene in Murder House where Tate kills all the teens in the library? That was inspired from Columbine
Hey dad
What about camp red wood
Coven and hotel are the most scary fucking things late at night.
LaLaurie was the most horrific for me... H.H. Holmes a close 2nd.
im glad i didnt live in new orleans in 1918 😭😭
Hello
Once again WM manage to fit 'The Shining' into another unrelated video
That just shows how good the movie still is.Its a shame we haven't made anything compared to it.
@@Thespeedrap putting it in every video they can think of shows how's good it is? Just shows how much they completely overrate it.

Cool a bunch of nursing students got murdered on my birthday
unpopular opinion:
the clown's "new design", was too generic
makin it an actual clown would make it creepier, and not a "spooky" clown
well yeah, instead for the series to shout
"HEY ITS ME, THE MURDERE AND THE SCARY GUY" at the beginning, it could have used "questions"
why is there a clown in a questionable location? as an intruduction
Still upset about pietro death
Do you consider this a bad thing?
Aren't these known facts already?
Where's Rudolph valentino
The Ax Man was more than likely only letter - all of the Ax Man "victims" were Italian grocery owners who had ties to the New Orleans Mafia (at the time very involved in the food businesses of NoLa) - the murders were real - likely they were killed because of "business" - and the letter was also real - but it was either a complete hoax or a publicity stunt - either to drum up business for the paper or for the jazz clubs. I love my state!
Eh What Is Nightmare On A Elm Street?
Pogo the clown? Isn’t that what created the novel “IT”?
Number one my mom with a chancla
Who played the h.h Holmes character?
Evan Peter's of course
@@AfiOyeTheNurse thanks
Am I fast?
Who else wanna see season 10 super bad😔
You will be able to see it on August 25, American Horror Story: Double Feature. American Horror Stories, the spinoff, will stream July fifteenth on Hulu.
Mythological? Trust me he is veryyyy real lol
