I like your non committal attitude throughout this video and, as always, I like the way you almost always pronounce other languages correctly. I'm still trying to figure out why Hollywood so often depicts the objects different than their real appearance in films made about them. Probably one of the creepiest things about "Annabelle" is that she's a common "Raggedy Ann" of which about 90,000 originals were made, yet in the movie, she's a really ugly porcelain or composite-headed modern monstrosity. And the original "Robert" doll was creepy-looking enough that they didn't really need to redesign him, either. Okay, maybe I'm wrong, but it isn't like choosing an actor or actress who doesn't in the least way look like the real person he or she is portraying, which can't really be helped, but this...? Stay safe, everyone.

I can confirm Bluecifer. I live in Colorado and we go to DIA a lot and I remember first looking into that freaky horse’s eyes and I felt like I was paralyzed with fear. It’s so creepy now when we pass it I tell my husband to let me know when we’re past it so I can stop closing my eyes.
Um, that's not the correct story regarding the Myrtles Plantation. The actual story is that Chloe, a slave, was having an affair with her slave master but she feared that during a private meeting in one of the rooms, he was trying to get rid of her so she got caught eavesdropping on the conversation. As punishment, she got her ear cut off. To get back into the family's good graces (or her slave master's good graces), she baked a cake with arsenic and hoped to put just enough to get the family sick so that she could win his approval back by nursing the family back to health. But instead, they died. For that, she was murdered / hung, I believe. Please get the proper stories together.
I remember there being a lot of Crying Boy paintings for sale in my country back in the 80s and 90s. I think I can still find one today. People who had small children bought them because the boy is cute. I have been to houses where they had hung the painting, and none of those houses have burned down. There are so many copies that I think it's just coincidence that the houses that burned down had the painting in them.
