Hey everyone. While making this long-overdue video I "remastered" the EQ on the old profiles and changed the reverbs, both to better match the studio tones (I've upgraded our studio monitors). So it's basically just a tweak of the old pack -- no new profiles. However, I want to get this revised pack to all customers who bought the old one. I'll send out an update to everyone who bought prior to fall 2019 or bought it as part of a bundle. If you bought after fall 2019, you should have gotten an automated email with an update link.
Hi Top Jimi.....you are absolutely TOP!!!!!!! just recieved a mail with this update pack because i bought the ACDC pack last year........thats service at it`s best.......Thank you!!!!!!!
Previously I couldn't care less about the Kemper in general, but hearing it get these timeless, nectar-of-the-gods rock tones has me considering one now. :)
5:05 You need the actual wireless pack to get Angus's tone from the era '(If You Want Blood You've Got It', 'Highway to Hell', 'Back in Black', 'For Those About to Rock We Salute You' )... from what I've read, Mutt Lange said it was something to do with the added compression/boost that the wireless pack gave the signal that gave Angus that wonderfully organic and alive tone .... Nobody else has ever gotten close to Angus's incredible sound from their live album 'If You Want Blood You've Got It' - just go back and listen to Angus's solos from that album on "Whole Lotta Rosie" and especially the two solos he plays on "The Jack" ... absolutely phenomenal gain and sustain - I've never heard _ANYONE_ come close to that live sound of Angus's! EDIT This wasn't a criticism by the way, the sounds you get in this video (and indeed, all your videos) are fantastic -- hats off to you, Sir!
hi Jimi...bought this pack a few years ago and it was amazing, but this new pack sounds even better! can i upgrade this pack or have i to buy it again????
Anyone have any input as to how these profiles sound with a strat? My guess is a gibson les paul would sound great but I'm in the process of getting my dream guitar which is a 58 les paul custom shop but for the time being I just have my 50th anniversary American pro plus with lace pick ups. The led zeppelin pack dosent sound great through my strat though I'm certainly not knocking it. Have to say the 68 super lead from top jimmi does sound amazing even on a strat!
I just bought this pack last night (10-01-2020) a d holy smokes it rules. I'm not doing in ACDC covers, but I am looking for the perfect rock and roll tone and ACDC is the perfect tone. Does my download have the new updates?
dang them kempers sound cool.... so torn between the kemper and an axe fx. love all the amps to be had with the kemper, but love all the routing options the axe fx offers.
I hear ya, I was on that fence, don't have a Axe but do have the kemper. I can not speak for the routing option differences but I can say with the Kemper, for everything I need it to do, it does it. As for tone and sound options (that's what really matters) it has proven to be incredibly accessible and with a few pro profiles, it is awesome. I was told when consulting with experts selling and using Axe, Kemper, and Helix... The Kemper is straight forward getting the usable tones you will actually use, especially if you look up the great profiles out there. Axe may have more drill own options, but that does not equate into a automatic good final product (a bit of process paralysis). Kemper has plenty of tweaking that can be done, I just went with the recommendations and happy with the results.
These sound killer. I used Tone Junkie's 1959HW for AC/DC tones for a few months now. I tweaked them a little and thought I had good results. But these tones sound impressive... I already have the Caswell AFD pack and think it can't be beat if one is going for a Slash tone. I recorded an AC/DC style track with the Tone Junkie profiles and would be interested in an opinion whether to change to the Top Jimi pack or leave it as it is: ruclips.net/video/vrdeQcP7s5g/видео.html
Bought the pack, sounded good for bedroom players, however once you crank it though a 4x12 cab they sounded very thin and un useable. Nothing like a 100w head. Yes Ac Dc has a lot of top end but there is a still a raw power in a 100w head not present in these profiles.
Most players don’t understand the importance of speakers in determining guitar tone. Unless you have a very specific vintage cab it’s not going to sound like the demo. Even if it says Marshall it’s very unlikely to have the necessary speakers. To get the sound of the demo you need to plug into the PA and use our speaker cabs. Merged profiles are really for making your own tones.
@@cragginshred To help your guitar sound like the demo I recommend just using the EQ knobs on the front of the Kemper. Turn the Treble and Presence together as they don't do too much independently. It's significantly harder to make one speaker/cab sound like another.
@@cragginshred You can't. That's why I sold my Kemper. Top Jimi's profiles are some of the best you can find, but the Kemper is nowhere close to being able to mimic the magic of the real thing in the room. It's more about feel than sound.

When you profile these amps, is everything in the EQ at noon or already tweaked for the signature tone ? thanks, you make the best profiles out there
Everything is tweaked for best tone, including amp settings, speaker and mic selection, and mic techniques.
Great stuff. You never mentioned what Greenbacks exactly (25w or 30w)?
20W for the early Malcolm tones, 25W for all others

Hey man, these profiles are just great...FUCKING GREAT!!!
Keep on doing what you do, your kemper profiles are the best!
Thank you so much - CHEERS.

After having a kemper for a couple of years now (still love my tube amps!!) I can definitely recommend the Kemper, it's pretty amazing! :-)
love your vids and profiles
Can please you do a George Lynch Dokken era pack? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Yeah, I tried the Schaffer Replica pedal but couldn’t get a decent tone while using it. Sounded much better without. Maybe I did something wrong.
Dude, you’d be the main reason I’d buy a Kemper. Awesome tone matches. 👍 Wish you did Fractal matches.
itsmeseventhseal I went from Fractal to Kemper. Very happy!
Awesome job! Thanks! TNT solol was on point! I don't own a Kemper but I will someday.
Received the update . Thanks man! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I have the original pack. Thank you for the free upgrade! Sounds kick ass. Sabbath/Ozzy next?
No updates planned for Sabbath or Ozzy. I think they sound great. :-)
Now I need a kemper!
hi Jimi...bought this pack a few years ago and it was amazing, but this new pack sounds even better! can i upgrade this pack or have i to buy it again????
Same thing
Me too. Can we please upgrade our old DC/AC pack?
Awesome!! Thanks so much!!
Glad, the video is back up! Is there an Upgrade on the pack, or just the new video format?

thats what I was thinkin!!!

Filipe will be pleased to hear that, lol
Hi. Does it works on the Kemper Profiler model PLAYER lv1 (basic stuff)? Best regards
Yes, works with all Kempers
0:37 the epic dive bomb
Man I wish you did Fractal stuff too!
Unfortunately can’t profile with the Fractal
Hello, friends, can these files be used on ToneX One?!
Sorry, Kemper only at this time
What are the settings on this
for back in black and in the 80s they used g12-65
Hey dude I bought the pack some time ago, is this the same as the old pack? Or is it an upgrade?
You should've had an email for the free upgrade.
same pack bro
What kinda speakers or cab are you using?
I run the Kemper direct into the DAW.
@@TopJimiStudios thanks
ToneX?
Is the guitar we hear just you or you with the original?
The guitar is just me. The backing tracks have no guitar.

Zakk Wylde' Profiler?
A BLS pack would be fun.
