I used to catch this show when I woke up a little too early for school. This was the last show on adult swim before the regular cartoons started and Coach Mcguirk was always my favorite. I really just loved how every conversation sounded like it was just people actually talking.

It is. It's basically just a REALLY low security prison where you get to go home for the night and then come right back. So many problems arise because of the public schooling system.

Home Movies one of the best cartoons of all time. It's been back on Cartoon Network recently as of March 27 2022 and it's actually funnier than I remember, especially the more subtle and adult jokes (like this video) that I didn't get as a kid lol.

A lot of the dialogue from this show was so scarily real and natural.
Largely because most of the dialogue is improvised and the voice actors go off their own creative/comedic instincts.
