- So you want sponsors? Well then maybe we should ask them what they want and give it to them! Racing used to be all about results inside the car, and now it is all about results on social media metrics. What does it all mean? I invited Zach from ECU Master USA to tell you what his company wants out of their sponsorships. He clearly defines how to approach him for a sponsorship, so just pay attention!
The basics of this video should be transferable to other sponsorship possibilities, and give you an understanding of how a business benefits from the relationship. If you can provide enough of a benefit to a company, you should be able to form a relationship that lasts forever.
The man said it. It's more about media presence than driving talent. You're almost better off getting sponsors and going the non- competition route.

his subs should be up there with chelsea and taylor ray. I've never felt like either him or Aaron mislead or sugar coat. lonestardrift might not upload daily like a program but the content is always progressively better and better along with the sport.

This is a perfect video to showcase what sponsors think, Alltho i think you'll need to bring a smaller company that tries to evolve so we can learn the basic's of a sponsorship i.e "Discounts 10%" on all parts, Those partners are more interested of stickers at local events and to really push their brand, This felt more of an established company. Kinda shitty though that you can be one of the worst drivers in the world but if your media presence is enourmous and have a lot of followers then they would love you since you would be able to sell plenty of product for them. Now in days social media presence matters x100 more then how good of a driver you are. That's the only downside I see is having insane driving skills but nope we can't sponsor you since you can't sell product for us. :( I'm a great driver so I guess I got to get my insta and RUclips numbers up
Driving skill is going to be completely irrelevant from here on out, super realistic racing simulators have seen to that, it has made the cost of learning to be one of the worlds best drivers negligible. Being able to promote a product for a company effectively is far more rare and useful and matters far more in the grand scheme of things.

Very interesting video. How do sponsors evaluate the numbers? It's easy to get a lot of subscribers/likes short-term and ofc it will show eventually. Is boosting numbers/faking the amount of viewers common and is it possible to figure it out immediately?
Faking the numbers won't work, and will kill a channel extremely quickly due to algorithm stuff. The computers know they are being faked, that will kill a business FB account for example instantly nowadays. Don't do fake followers for your own good!

You know what I lot big Instagram people don’t do is Instagram love that’s probably your best bet for advertising for example your enstaling some BC racing coils on your car because it’s live I feel like people would actually be interested in the product because they might like what they post and they love what they post than they might tell there selfs this guys using bc racing coils and I love his car let me throw them on my car
If the RUclips sponsorship trend keeps going another 10 years everyone will be fighting for followers. How many drivers are going to follow another driver to help their program? It’s going to be based off fan views only. A view doesn’t equate to an order from a new customer.

He talked in the video about wanting people who will actually use the product and install it correctly. That rules out haggard unless he wants it raffled off or sold on craigslist a week later.
