I actually thought the RS3 was going to take the GTR. That was an awesome race. Shows how well the GTR had held up as the grandpa of this group. Very impressive.

The challenger is by far the grandpa of the group it’s chassis goes back to the 90s and has been around pretty much as long as the gtr has
The gearbox in the gtr is just a masterpiece even if it was made 14 years ago.

GTR is just a masterpiece the fact it doesn't need to be changed and has stuck for so long is so impressive really an icon
Can we all just take comfort in the fact that the 2024 GTR isn’t going electric or hybrid . I watched the Tokyo auto salon reveal a couple days ago and only thing they really changed was the front and rear to help with downforce and a new exhaust to help with noise reduction (may be JDM version only) .

That RS3 tune is impressive. It was able to hang with the GTR on consecutive runs without blowing up.
The 2.5 is quite a beast, pretty reliable from everything i've seen. Not like some of Audi's other products

The results from this race made me extremely happy. super glad the GTR hasn’t gone fully electric and hopefully someday a new generation GTR will be putting these cars in their place even further. 🏁

Appliance you say, like an airfrier - as compared to essentially a turbo combustion engine.
It was in 2009. In 2023 it's mediocre at best when it comes to performance for the money.

R35 reaching that legendary status. The fact it’s staying relevant and this design was drawn up as early as 2001 is incredible.
I like all 3 cars but I was shocked the hellcat on a roll lost. That gtr is something else and the rs3 with some mods is really nice

It's heavy. No aerodynamics. That's the big killer of that car.
Unless I missed something, if the hellcat is stock they are not that fast on a roll. Normal 60-130 times are higher 8s

I raced a tuned RS3 at the track with my Scat, and I was running low 12s and he ran an 11.8 non stop. The AWD and tune was just such a good combo.

@@geoff9480 lmao that RS3 is from 8 years ago, little family sedan that cost 55k when new. It's not AUDIS fault that Nissan still kicking the can down the road with GTR, milking it to death. That thing cost over $130-150k (Nismo version is even more expensive).
I'm not trying to talk s@#t about GTR it's impressive that they developed that level of straight line performance back in 2008. But now days used super car market there are better alternatives around $120k-150k range.
All I'm saying is that little family sedan can hang with mighty Godzilla

What happen on the roll race with the 717 HP Hellcat?
That 200 extra hp on the hellcat should've made up for its extra weight but they also did low speed rolls but as they went up on they're start roll speed the hellcat wasn't left behind they stopped to early should've done a 60 roll

Alhamdulillah in my experience owning nissan/infiniti, they are more reliable than the toyota/lexus. Especially when you take good care of your Nissan and Infiniti vehicle with service routine with good oil, good spare parts, good fuel and so on , insya Allah they are more-more reliable.

Hellcat driver has no idea what he is doing. Stock vs stock both of those cars will lose to a hellcat from a (roll race). AWD is the only reason they beat the Hellcat off the line. The last race the hellcat pulled on the Audi and was catching the GTR but every other race you guys jumped the hellcat. Good video though!
That was no small tune to the RS3. That was quite a bit done to it, so let's give the props to the stock GT-R easily handling its business nonetheless. 👏
He had several other mods, however, had he just ran a Stage 1 E85 tune without any of the rest of his mods, he'd have more power than stage 2 on 93. 592 vs 565. With those mods and E85 is 621hp. The difference is ridiculous. GT-R needs mods to hang with an E85 RS3.

@@davothegreat9990 stock GT-R is 2.9 0-60 and 11.2 quarter mile. In a dig race, depending on the surface, E85 RS3 could win that by several cars. Most get into the 10s on that setup.

The hellcat lost because for one the sprint or goal is not as long like normal drag strips are, on top of that awd cars accelerate faster than rwd cars it doesn't mean they are faster when it mph because most awd cars have mph cap in which a cutoff happens and the engine starts stuttering.

If your whip runs 11’s and you meet them on the street. The will spin and that spin is the downfall. Obviously on a roll they are deadly af.

Depends what Audi model. The GT-R normally competes with the R8, not the RS3
The hellcat needs a supercharger with the same displacement as the entire audi engine itself(!) and needs to be going at least 50 mph to take it in a race. Also more expensive and gets half the gas mileage. Different strokes for different folks I guess

To the video editor. Stop using optical flow, it distorts the image too much. Either you leave it as normal at 50% speed, or start using 120fps+ cameras to get that slow-mo effect you want. Heck, even an iphone has 120/240.
