Think about it, a land born from peace is proposing a peace treaty in form of marriage with the land born from war, the warring side will definitely have a sort of disagreement between the whole nation. Im gonna propose this, I don't know who was the one who shot the arrow, but I'm sure it is from one of the higher up officials that we don't know, ofc not Meiko, but we may never know. Not exactly. Actually the main problem is that king and quuen bear the spirits with strong hatred to each another, and that causes kingdoms to be at war. Kaito tries to break the pattern by unifying the spirits (through marriage), but Blue Bird takes control over her host (Miku) and Kaito gets killed. Because of host being killed Red Spirit goes to Len who attacks Blue Kingdom with rage to get revenge for his master's death. Miku fights with him and is killed. Because Rin cherishes her master more than anyone, Blue Bird chooses her as next host. So the Red and Blue spirits' fight continues on.
