You should be so incredibly proud of yourself and Vossi you made finals!!! That's just amazing especially in your first year of dressage ❤
I've followed you for ages and you've never looked so in tune with one another, good for you for sticking at it even when things didn't go to plan.
    So happy for you 😍🥰

Yes! I don't really enjoy high-level dressage anymore. The horses look too unnatural and unhappy. "Normal people" dressage is still fun to watch because the riders are trying to actually work on their partnership with their horses. ❤

Your test looked amazing and Voss looks so happy in this work! Dressage is a funny one--really the score is meaningless. It all comes down to how you felt you and your horse did. There are times I have won a class but felt we were shite, and other times I had the best feeling from my horse but didn't place. Ignore the score and enjoy bringing Voss and yourself along as you know your horse best and when you're making progress. ❤

Very well done for getting to this level in such a short time. All that hard work, tears and joys have payed off. So, the marks weren't as high as expected, but put them aside. You were there, Vossi was brilliant, the sun was shining.......who could ask for a better day.
A different competition and different judges would equal different scores. A pleasure to watch.

I think you Noth did quite well. Vossi was relaxed and seemed to enjoy himself. You both looked very nice competing in the arena. You should be proud of yourselves!! You did it!!! Thank you!

Oh, that scoring was rather harsh 😳 actually shocked you got a 6 for that centre line 😮 it was soooo straight! I'm feeling very disappointed for you and vossi you both did so well and you've worked so hard for this.
Continue to work hard through your training, your time will absolutely come! Well done 👏🏻 xxxx

I would love a voice over of the tests with the judges comments! I thought the scores were great actually as it is a championship... need something to strive for. It was well ridden and although tense at times, had many lovely moments to focus on. But for me the success is in the rest of the weekend. Travelling, stabling ect. Voss did so well 🥰

Here I am again Charlotte Dear.
Do not forget that you have only been doing Dressage for 1 year, that is not long at all.
The people that you competed against have been doing dressage for ages, even years maybe.
You will get better and better all the time so do not be down on yourself because I thought that your test was very good for how long you have been doing dressage.
Keep trying keep training it really will all come together for you. Your fan Jane ❤️🧑🏻‍🦰❤️🐴

Definitely deserved at least 65.5\ 66% imo . You will definitely find dressage is like showing in the way that if a judge doesn’t for instance like a bay, grey, chestnut etc they will always mark them down .

Welcome to the world of dressage - ride the test as if you are simply looking for an opinion on how your training is progressing don’t think of it as being JUDGED - you will start trying to hard and then you will make mistakes - no one can ride a perfect test so dont try - and DONT look at the scores as being harsh you feel something different to what the judges see and yes very subjective but don’t let that affect you - a dressage test is simply a reflection of your training and how well you are progressing - you will win or place in very few national comps against professionals so don’t try just enjoy the opportunity to compete at that level - always compete a level below where you are training !

It can take yesrs to get to finels sometimes early success is not always good.. You rode well, all you need is experience, don't forget you are only at the beginning of your road so just step by step..

    Hello Charlotte my Dear,
You are not going to believe this Charlotte but sitting here in America I absolutely knew by looking at his eye that he was going to spook, I was sitting here yelling “watch out Charlotte” and the he
spooked. Oh well thank goodness he did not hurt you.
I am now going to return to your lovely video. By the way I really thought your hair looked so pretty and wavy.
