🥇🥈A GREAT SHOW BACK AFTER THE CHAMPS | Riding with Charlotte

- 🥇🥈It’s show day for us🤩 The first comp back since the British Dressage Winter Champs. I can’t believe it, we won our Novice 23 test and picked up 2nd place in the Prelim! Forget the results, there is literally no better feeling than walking away from a show feeling like you’ve accomplished the challenges you set yourself and that’s exactly how I felt today🥰💪🏼
It was both mine and Vossi’s second time ever competing the Novice 23 test and the first time riding it without a caller…I’m definitely starting to feel calmer and relaxed towards Dressage shows now. The trick is certainly getting out to as many shows as possible. Realistically, I’m trying to get out to 2 a month, although sometimes it’s just the 1 a month.
Super proud of us both🤩 next stop - the British Dressage Senior Inter-Regionals🥳🎉

I love your enthusiasm! Vossi and you both look wonderful. Vossi has such lovely gaits. All three are lovely. As he gets stronger he will just get better and better. Well done!

You did really well, congratulations. I must say, when comparing the two tests, that you looked kind of looser and more relaxed through your hips and thighs in the second test, which may have made him less tight through his back for the novice.
But well done! Amazing to see you buzzing over the whole thing! 😄

@@RidingwithCharlotte the main thing to focus on is how far you have both come, not only in your dressage tests, but also in how you have been finding your groove and are clearly both so much happier now than you were before. It’s really wonderful to see. 🤩,
And what I mentioned before is not very obvious, only quite slight but just makes a difference especially to such a sensitive and expressive horse like Vossi.
But he does look rather pleased with himself! 🤣🤣🤣 Very cute indeed!
