That whirlpool detail is just bonkers lmao, this game is one of a kind
In real life, I doubt a big quadruped like that would be able to create a whirlpool THAT way, if anything that's more of a demonstration of water physics interactivity than realism

Either game was a worthy winner. Rockstar's legendary attention to detail is unmatched, yes, but GOW gameplay and revamped new take deserves all the praise too. Story wise? Pretty even as well.

John facing off with three bad guys, paralleling Arthur facing off with three wolves in the beginning, is just beautiful writing.
that is one of the few theories by the community that I actually believe it's real
@elz1074 thats not really a theory. That's just a common writting mechanic called 'symbolism'. In the first mission, john is trapped, encabale of the facing the wolves alone. He is helped by two trusted friends as they run away from the wolves that tried to eat him. In the final mission, john is alone in facing the "wolves" that killed his brother.

Theres another similar to the sunset. You can find Abigail standing on the porch and John can put his arms around her while Jack plays with Rufus in front.
One thing I’ve never seen anyone show is how you can clearly see the shack where the finale of the game takes place as the gang rides down from Colter at the end of chapter 1. During the cutscene where everyone is riding you have a clear view of the shack on the mountain, an intentional camera shot I think, it’s a detail I didn’t notice til my second or third playthrough.
I search a video of the Mission and i didn't see the shack honestly

theres a intriguing detail in butchers creek, if you go to some kind of barn in the north of the "town" you will see a trail of blood going to that direction, when you enter the barn there is clothings with blood in the ground and chains hanging in the ceiling, it gives the impression that someone was tortured in there.
One detail I never hear people talk about is the bear encounter during the hunting mission with Charles, it's invincible but if Arthur dies from it, you can restart and it'll continue with Charles asking Arthur if he's okay, and Arthur will say something on par with he was just thinking. Implying that death was just fantasy.

Being fair, the IDEA of the game could have. It just had the non-privilege of being made by Methesda, so there was no chance of idea translating to reality.

Another interesting detail that I never saw anyone talking about is Gun Drawing:
If you press L1 or LB the character will draw his gun regularly.
But if you press R2 or RT the character will actually draw it in a quicker motion.
This is because the R2/RT draw is for shooting while L1/LB is for inspecting or cleaning or whatever else.
Always a good day when StrangeMan uploads a RDR2 video.

I don't know how many people have noticed, but as John, if you scroll through his writings in Arthur's journal, in one of them he is wondering if the treasure maps that were left after Arthur lead anywhere. So a detail I haven't seen anyone notice yet. The sketch of Blackwater in Arthur has Journal is the RDR1 version and not the one we see in RDR2. He drew the Police station and the bank that dint exist in 1899

When the gang gets Jack back there’s a cool detail, ya’ll probably notice it already but when they leave Bronte’s house just simply walk to your horse and you’ll notice that Arthur gets on first then Dutch and finally John with Jack it’s in the order all characters die except for Jack, Arthur dies first then later on Dutch and finally John not too sure just wanted to share that rock on RDR fans ✌️

Hi, Strange Man. Recently I found a very interesting and sad detail in the game that I don’t know if you already covered in one of your videos, but nevertheless I would like to share it in this comment:
Right in front of Compson’s Stead (where in one side mission we found out there’s an old slave prison below the house floor) there’s an empty well that if you climb down you’ll find marked in the wall 62 counted days and a drawing of 3 cruces and clouds, certainly made by a slave that was kept down there all that time.

The medicine they took to commit suicide caused them to vomit blood before death. It's likely the horse medicine they took contained arsenic, which was often used in medication, especially at the time.
