Rocky Mountain National Park ~ Snowshoeing the Colorado River Trail

The Colorado River Trail, nestled within the sprawling expanse of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, is a scenic and historic snowscape in the winter. This trail offers a unique opportunity to experience the wilderness, wildlife, and compelling history of the Colorado River's headwaters, Stella and I set out on our snowshoes heading north toward Lulu City. Though our adventure ended near Shipler Cabins, with the remnants buried in the snow we meandered about the meadow before retracing our steps back to the trailhead.
