The water was a bit turbid due to the rains from the previous few days plus it didn't help that 4 boats arrived at the same time to snorkel. See our p...

Where did you get your backsplash tiles? I like the colors and shape. Can you add order numbers and color info?
Karen, we bought them from Amazon, here is the link ~ amzn.to/4doNXX1 plus it has been added to the post. Feel free to ask any additional questions.
Hi was this today? Thinking of going
This was from two week ago, should be plenty of snow considering a few storms rolled through.
Right on! Thank you
Wow!! What a beautiful video. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you.
Wood based behind the stove top? Or 'wood grain' per the write up. Probably better than whatever plastic is there now. My 2021 2108DS does not have that window behind the faucet, I suspect that will make it easier as will the fact that mine is in my backyard so I have full access to all my tools. We used a similar adhesive backed tile for our home kitchen - with a shaped cut waxed paper as a backing so it was easier to slide in the interlocking bit then put out the wax paper.
It is printed reclaimed wood textured with woodgrains mixed with copper and gold as well as anti-scratch, anti-dirt, waterproof and heat-resistant. I was a bit of a challenge, my first time working with this type of tile. Working around the window was Anti-Scratch, Anti-Dirt, waterproof, and heat-resistant. We bought the tile from Amazon, here is the link - amzn.to/4a6sL51 plus it is now in the post as well. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions.
Stunning scenery! It was smoky when I was there in '21.
Yes, it is, my apologies for not responding sooner. Wyoming is a beautiful state.
I hope to be there in about a week.
My apologies for not responding sooner, I hope you were able to enjoy your trip up Mount Evans or now Mount Blue Sky.
shoulda just bought a hitch extender so the bikes sit in front of the tire; that's what we did
We considered that option, however, when adding a hitch extender you typically reduce the static load capacity by 50%. Most manufacturers state a static weight on their hitch for a certain length from the receiver, then reduce that amount. The stated load factor for the FLX is 350 lbs from 12" from the receiver. My understanding is that after 12" from the receiver the static load weight is reduced to 150 lbs. Our rack is about 59 lbs plus another 60 lbs for our bikes or about 120 lbs combined. Thus, we are about 80% of the static load before applying the forces applied to the hitch and the rack while traveling and I am not comfortable with that risk, this is why we chose to move the tire to the front of the trailer. Plus, I may have failed to mention that we also carry a tandem kayak and two paddle boards which also may impede the turning radius with the bikes up front.
That’s pretty
Thank you
@@paddleandtrails your welcome
Is it possible for you to post the link for the fawcet adapter. Also you have to same tap handles as me so do you know how to remove the tap handles as my hot water one squeaks. I didn't see a set screw anywhere but may have missed it.
Greg, here is the link. It is in the post, you just need to click show more in the youtube video... amzn.to/3WYiYt2 As for the handles, that is a great question, I will look, I most likely will be out at my FLX tomorrow afternoon. I will let you know what I find. Thank you for reaching out.
@basecampgrandlake you're welcome. Thank you I would really appreciate that. I have a 2022 Winnebago 2108DS and your bathroom sink looks identical to mine.
@@gregspasiuk1924 We have the same unit.
@@paddleandtrails nice 👍
Greg, I was out at our FLX this afternoon. I took a good look at the faucet and did not find any noticeable way to tighten the handle. I also looked up underneath the sink and did not see a fix there either. Short of removing the faucet I do not see an easy fix. I will continue to post more on the FLX and our adventure so you may want to follow along. Let me know if there are any additional questions.
Is no longer faithful
Unfortunately, very true...
How do you create a video lik3 this?
In this case, I used my GoPro Hero 9, there is a setting in the camera for both Time Lapse and Night Lapse. If you have a GoPro I can assist, plus if you have a GoPro, there is a more advanced method for Night Lapse as well (higher quality and more complex post-production). With that being said, there are other ways as well. What type of device/camera are you using? Feel free to ask any additional questions.
Is there a valve you have to turn if you switch from hose hookup to water tank water
That is a good question and I am assuming you own a FLX, however, this would be similar to non-FLX models. You should be able to turn on the pump at the panel to use the water from your tank. Ensure you are disconnected from city water and that there is water in the tank (plus, you will need to sanitize the tank prior to using it). If the water does not pump from the tank, you may have to open the valve. The pump is typically located under the sink, it was cumbersome to access. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions.
I’ve been trying for two days to dewinterize my 2022 FLX and the water pump has kept sucking air. I think I figured it out now after bypassing everything and building a new water manifold. I think the problem is the shower miser was open. Which nobody says anything about. I’ll try again tomorrow and let you know. By the way that was a awesome video for winterizing. Best one I seen.
@@glenludwig5135 Thank you. Since you winterized it last year, you should have been able to connect to city water and run the water through the lines to clear the antifreeze. You could add a little water to the water tank to check the pump. Again, feel free to reach out with any additional questions.
Such a beautiful place. Great vid!
Thank you, it was a great trip.
Yes, Everyday should be an Earth Day. Thank you for a great video and sharing. Take care. Dave.
Dave, thank you for the kind reply, Sorry for the delay as we were out of the country last week.
Is your lithium battery going to survive the winter months? what did you do to protect it from minus temps?
I will preface this, it was a challenge, the polar vortex around the holidays did a number on the battery. Living in Colorado there is an abundance of sunshine, however, we were stuck an extra day in Wyoming returning from Jackson Hole. The battery did enter the never die mode which protects the battery in such events. It took a while to bring the battery back as the inverter will also shut down when temps reach -4 degrees. During this period I would typically go out to the FLX daily to reengage the battery, knock any snow off the solar panels and verify the battery was receiving a charge. Knowing what I know now, I will either move to a powered site if we are still here next winter or remove the battery from the FLX. Which is not the easiest thing to do. The FLX package is outstanding from a technical perspective, however, I also believe Winnebago failed to properly prepare or communicate with the owners what is needed to maintain the battery properly. Depending on where you live, particularly in the midwest or the northern tired states, I recommend removing the battery unless you can keep power to the unit. Please feel free to ask any additional questions.
@@paddleandtrails I have spoken to a couple of people who have put an electric blanket around the battery and have it plugged in to an outside source for the winter. so I hope they report on how it survived the winter.
So awesome! Great video!!
Thank you, I hope you also read the story behind the video...
4:44 Simple question, how do you prime the pump?
John, the pump is self-priming. Plus as a note, **DO NOT** reinsert the filter into Truma AquaGo after winterizing the AquaGo.
Thanks Larry. Just purchased an already winterized FLX 2108TB up here in already frozen Canada. Have saved it for next fall. Will reverse order it next Spring for de-winterizing. Keep your informative videos coming.
Thank you and welcome to the FLX club, please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Great video. Thanks a ton. What did you do with the Lithionics battery for the winter?
I am not certain about that yet, as for now, it is still in the FLX. We live in Colorado just outside of Denver. Since putting the FLX into storage after winterizing I have been checking in on the battery. So, far so, good, however, it is about to get close to zero degrees neat the end of the week with a chance of snow before warming back up. The typical winter in Denver is high temps in the mid 40's and lows in the twenties. I am going to reach out to Lithionics on Tuesday to get their opinion on the matter. I have seen a few posts where people have removed the battery and if we were still living in Wisconsin I most likely would do that as well. Short of the battery weighing 68 pounds, getting it out will be a chore as well. So, I will follow up once I know more.
Thanks. I grew up outside Denver myself. Definitely miss it! I called Winnebago yesterday and am waiting on a response myself. Will share when I hear.
@@jasonhall1086 they didn't call me back!
Love this video. have a new 2022 2108tb. where is the fresh water tank drain valve?
It should be between the tires and the stairs underneath the FLX on the passenger side of the trailer. it is a protruding line capped with most likely a white valve.
@@paddleandtrails Thanks SO much. Never showed us any of the drains at demo. Got the rest from your video. Dealer had left water in everything. Thanks again!

NOTE: ***DO NOT*** reinsert filter into Truma AquaGo after winterizing the AquaGo.
Great video. I don’t believe, here in Sacramento, we have a need for adding antifreeze but I will be blowing the lines clear with low pressure compressed air. I assume that would be done with the Truma bypassed? I will be adding the antifreeze to the traps and the toilet bowl (mostly to keep the seal healthy in the bowl). Not sure is the waterless shower “trap” needs antifreeze, but can’t hurt to toss som in. Again, thanks for this video. Very helpful! - steve
Steve, my apologies for the delayed response, yes this would be done with the bypass of the Truma AquaGo and you are correct a bit of antifreeze in the traps would not hurt. As a note: do NOT put the filter back in the AquaGO after winterizing.
Truma recommends leaving the AquaGo water heater filter out for winterization. It looks like you may have left it in.
Yes, inadvertently reinserted the filter, I need to up date or add to the video.
