We just left the El Dorado Royale and can't wait to return next year! We loved it! Their staff has excellent customer service and the food is phenomenal. It's my new favorite vacation destination. I hope they never change their standards.
Thank you! Been watching your videos to get insight to what resort I might want to stay at next spring! A suggestion I have that other channels do is get a mini map of the resort in a corner and when you go to a different section mark it on the map by dropping a map pin or emoji- helps get the feel of how far you walk annnnd how much effort you put into making these videos for all of us! Thanks again, love the authentic vibe 🙂
Fantastic job as always by Angie! The resort looked absolutely beautiful until ... that beach. Just my opinion, but the beach is pretty much the make-or-break thing for me in the Caribbean. And no ... I do not iron while on vacation ... or at home.
Hello great video. I am planning a solo relaxcation for myself and i'm debating which El Dorado resort to stay at in the Riviera Maya/Tulum. Do you have any recommendations? El Dorado Royale looks amazing!!!
Is the food quality consistent across karisma/el dorado resorts? We are planning to book seaside suites because it is less expensive than royale. Wondering if it’s worth booking at this resort instead.
We've been to Royale twice and going again next year. We tipped the butler like $20 upon arrival. They are awesome, and really take care of you. Then usually $5 daily with another $20 at the end. Not sure if this is typical, but they seemed very appreciative.
Hey, I’ve paid to stay in a premium room with access to the premium swimming pool. Which pool is this on your tour, not sure if i missed it? It isn’t the swim up room/pool. I thought it was the one outside your room, thats what it looks like on the pics x
That's no longer a room category at El Dorado Royale. I believe the pool you are referring to is the pool behind the smoothie stand close to the entrance to Casitas. My room was on the other end of the resort near the Fuentes pool.
I’m not sure, I’ve recently paid extra for ‘premium guest and exclusive access to the premium pool’ but looks like everyone has access to it, so I’ll be wanting a refund if that’s the case.

EDR and EDRC is one of my favorite resorts! There's so many options of what to see, do and eat!
So much fun!

Yes! Another non-ironer!
Great video! Thanks for sharing, hope you are staying well! What a beautiful resort!
Thanks!
An outstanding resort requires an outstanding video review. Trips with Angie delivers.
Thanks!
Too funny. I am at this resort now. This is our 5th time here. We love it
Have a great trip!
We are headed there in 3 weeks. We have a beach front jr suite. Hoping we love it. Any suggestions or special requests we should make to the hotel?

In my experience, food quality is consistent.
Your video was amazing. Do you know anything more about the butlers there and what is the etiquette on tipping butlers?
I am not familiar with the butler program since I don't have the time share. We met with a concierge and just tipped when he did something for us.
@@TripswithAngie ok thanks

@@Carla-sn8ez Definitely check with the agency you booked your trip with.
How is the covid process there? We are scheduled to be there late September. Would like to know
I cover it in the beginning of the video and you can see the protocols around the resort.
