hell yeah , finaly i can use the dps armor without worrying about taking a crap ton of planar damage and i can actually use the lunar mush skill going to make boss much nicer since we only heal with medicine

I always thought the Lure plant fuel weaver farm exists just because they haven’t had a chance to fix it. It sounds like they are aware of it and are in some way kinda endorsing it(since they are thinking about reversing the nerf). Very cool.
Did they actually fix it for fw or did they only fix it for seasonal bosses ?

I knew klei was gonna change the nightmare and scrappy werepig being able to exist at the same time! so my theory might be right!
Would be cool to use the furnace for instant-heating thermal stones, larvae, and, maybe, refining metal. So you could turn scrap metal into iron that could create new weapons or just gears.
I do think it needs a little more than just deleting things from existence, yeah.
Personally, I'm for making the Brambleshade armor Wormwood Only. With how powerful some f these skilltree specific equipment crafts can be (looking at you, Wigfrid), it becomes just a little too easy to just put together what is essentially mid-to-lategame tier items from the get go, and breeze through the game. I know the brambleshade isn't exactly something you get in the beginning of a playthrough, but it's still rather powerful in a way that can render the actual non-skilltree recipes obsolete. So yeah, let Wormwood be the only one to benefit from Brambleshade armor, and while we're at it, maybe nerf the Battle Rönd a little for non-wigfrid players too.
A friend of mine made a trash can mod a couple years ago which turned things put in it into ash. Maybe we can talk to klei about it...

Haven't been playing much at all beyond filming guides and as far as I know it's mostly for mega-bases so bare that in mind.

I will be very sad if klei removes the lureplant toadstool strat. That boss is entirely too annoying and not really worth the real fight for his loot. I do love my mushlights though. But it i cant use lureplant strat i may give up on the fight entirely in future worlds
Everyone I know uses a far-off lure plant for a trash can, though i do like the idea of the trash can, but may not use it much for I am a megabaser and a hoader. P.s. the kure plant eyeballs DO eat eternal fruitcakes 😂
Holy Moley that lite plant nerf is huge. Biggest nerf they’ve done in years. There were farms for half the bosses using those including the best fuel weaver farm out there
It's a little too big and a little too old for them though as I'm 99% sure they are working on reverting it already.

That's been my plea about the entire game for over a year and half... Refine your preexisting stuff and finish your Story! THEN add what you want for bloat.

I want to get back into this game, but my brain is so overloaded lol. There's so much content in this game that I'm unsure where to start!!! Like I think I've only explored 20% of the content.
Wait, can you connect the Wobot to the scaled furnace for an automatic trashcan, or only normal chests?
I believe it's only chests and we need to manually click the destroy button anyways so what you're thinking wouldn't even work.
That lureplant change is rough I always cheese fuelweaver with houndius shootius and lureplants.
Sounds like they will work to have it only apply to endgame bosses but... That could easily mean Fuelweaver as well. 😬😅

We have so many wall alternatives you don't need more just plant them and eat them

I still believe we're struggling with the level of post endgame gear, yeah. But the brambleshade is pretty cool in that respect!
If they nerf the placeable items at least buff walls so they are easier to use also would be awesome an mechanic or some item that allow walls to regen health over time
Why nerf lureplants? They are of no consequence whatsoever to the game
They've said that their reasoning sat with blocking/trapping the Scrappy Werepig but have since come out to say that the resulting damage to other farms was not their intent.
🙏they will revert and the nerf will only work for the new bosses (scrappy), but they said they will work on it later in future updates with the old ones (fuelwaver) 😭

@@nguyenquocanh9961 cheat would be using the doors to fly around to kill the fuelweaver, it has nothing to do with using the lureplants to trap it and kill it with a hondious shoot, it's a strategy

Ight they fixed the werepig. Now it makes sense with the whole "this not over!" and then showing up in the junkyard.
And apparently they want to have a third part to the Werepig story!

stole power from the shadows hence getting big and stuck in were form
locked up because of this
gets freed and goes on a rampage screaming about how all power belongs to him
get beat up and leaves only to return in a scrap yard
said scrapyard later has moon boss themed gizmos
going off all this it's a stretch but I say he's heading for the Lunar Island! That would be wild if afterwards we go to spawn the Celestial Champion and the werepig runs up and absorbs its power turning into a lunar beast. Would be quite a climatic battle to end all battles given it would be both shadow and lunar powered at that point.
I hope FW lureplant trick not ruined after this
It is, but they might be reversing the change or keeping it only for the Scrappy Werepig.

I was gonna be happy with the trash can until you said the eternal fruitcake is excluded.
Oh well, we'll keep using the trash can mod I suppose. 😅
