It all started of the root 5 minor barre chord shape then I added notes from there and figured out the octaves 🤘🏻

I’m definitely not as familiar with black metal, old school death metal is more what I understand but after asking my Patreon members the consensus was this sounded like blackened death metal

I get worried sometimes cause I think to myself "how much could I possibly be able to play from this" but realizing that it's kinda like modes where you get the box that you can play in, and have endless possibilities inside of that box. It’s been amazing the support I’ve gotten since I started the channel. Everything I post is improvised on the day or may take longer if it’s more challenging and I need to get better. I’m also somewhere between thrash and death metal with my style and also play 80’s rock and whatever I enjoy on the day. The weekend marked my first year on RUclips and I’m still surprised it’s grown the way it has but definitely thankful.

Well yeah as i mentionned there aren't a lot of material as far as lessons and tutorials for oldschool death metal so you are kind of filling a niche.If i may offer some advice, maybe you should try to make some themed videos, like the one you did for the "DEATH MEATAL RIFFS WITH TABS" video,where there is just a few riffs, a tab, and maybe the drum backing tracks provided too, in your patreon or for free, thats up to you, but its those kind of formats that drew me to your channel because everything is in one place if you know what i mean?

Any specific scale or mode you’re using? Also this was amazing and I never think to play notes diagonally over 3 strings!
It would incorporating the harmonic minor scale and the minor barre chord shape with some extra notes added. This one started with the root 5 minor barre chord then I searched out the octave notes to add more tonal variety.
Blackened death metal is just death metal that's been left on the grill a bit longer. 💪💀
