    Helpful video. Thanks. I agree with another comment that it was much easier for me to use my oil extractor. The oil filter is very hard to reach behind the battery. I got fed up, disconnected and pulled the battery out for access. The larger HST filter is incredibly stubborn to remove on the first 50-hour service. I however did not replace the smaller filter until both were off for leverage and access to the larger forward filter. I too noticed no drop in UDT fluid level in the transmission and a bit more than a quart required at the front tank. Worth mentioning: don't forget to grease the zerk fittings on the suspension A-arms --- maybe greased at the factory or dealer PDI, but maybe not. Very few RUclips videos on the X1140 which is peculiar.

    You have to be careful. I have seen the hydraulic fluid over filled many times in the fire service. The reason it is under the front seat, is because it should be checked with all hydraulics contracted. When extended, there is more fluid in them and that is why the tank level will be lower.

    Hi Tim, I do have a question regarding the trans filters, I getting a different part number on the suction filter (yellow) HHK 32-16770 is the part number I'm getting from my Kubota dealer, you were a little fast on reading those numbers, but none of them sounded like this part number, the other two were correct

    • @RidgeLife
      @RidgeLife  3 года назад

      I got these from the Dealer as well. They provided the following: Engine Oil-HH150-32094, Large Hyd- HH3A0-82623 and Small Hyd- HHK70-14073. I see what you mean though as when I search Messicks, they list a different model for Hyd. Weird. They user manual doesn't list the part numbers unfortunately. I will have to confirm on my next oil change. Please let me know if you find out otherwise! Thx

    decided after watching your video to do mine 1120, 2021 model. I ran into a problem as the small filter was fine, but the larger was a bitch. Had to go to Napa to buy another filter wrench. I could not get initially, the larger without taking off the smaller. ( a lot of fluid lost as a result) my old wrench and my new one would not allow me to attack the filter from the bottom, just the center area due to the configuration of the filter tool. I had to attack it from the center as a result, very little area to work with. Could you please tell your model or exact type of filter wrench used. The issue I found was the silver colored inlet or outlet metal tube caring hydro fluid would prevent my wrench from grabbing the filter as yours did. Hopefully this makes some sense. Thanks, Robert TN
