Judges are not held accountable for their decisions that affect other people's lives and they should be. In regards to DV situations, this has been going the same way for decades. The abuser's rights should NOT be more important than the safety of the victim.
I think that if someone is convicted of dv or any type of abuse toward another person, and that means putting your hands on them in any way that could harm them. Lawsuits will be going in every direction from this family. It is sad what happened to her.
Wow that clerk really dropped the ball to say the least. There needs to be some kind of double verification method implemented before letting someone out of jail, so human error doesn't result in precious life lost. And ideally someone like this wouldn't receive bond at all.... how the heck is he still getting a bond opportunity yet again.
Omg he gave them her address as to where he was to be staying and only days later they found out that he tricked them into going to harm her 🤦♀️
Yep, her family should sue this circus. They are responsible for this murder. What a joke. The $1 million bond after the fact is an insult.
Sorry for your loss Dr.
I am so very saddened by the loss of Lauren.
And the incompetency of the people involved in their roles should be held accountable.
Lauren would be alive had people been on the ball.
What is wrong with people ? Why are they not switched on ?
Why are their minds not on the job ?
I'm so irritated and angered by the glib work attitudes going on in this .
Appreciated especially a father talking about his daughter and telling us what Lauren was like . She has such a beautiful name too.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you Doctor for especially, being reassured that you had nothing to worry about ; which was just telling you whatever you needed to hear, as it turned out. That annoys me, so very very much .
Most heart felt condolences to all of Lauren's family, and closest peers .
It is felt here in Australia too.
