    I sometimes find it infuriating to see you adjusting the timing on an engine that is clearly working just fine, you go one way then the other then back again and it's not always easy to see any benefit.
    This time I can clearly see how well that little engine is running at the end, I wouldn't have thought it was possible to run such a small engine as such a low speed, (I'm not talking about the slowed down video part). It must be very satisfying to be able to work to that standard !

      Please don't be infuriated. The purpose of my videos is to show how and what can be done to achieve good end results, sometimes it is a fiddly and very precise job to get the correct setting, but the end result usually justifies the means..

    I wonder if during the Golden Age of Steam engineers realized the wisdom of engaging musicians when tuning valve gear? The ability to hear the proper timing is a clear advantage.
