    Astrox 99 or the new 88d? I love smashing and someone said the new 88d out smashes the 99

    • @StevenYUMO

      Personally, I'd go for the new 88d over Astrox 99. Although liking head heavy rackets myself, I feel like Astrox 99 can be overwhelming at times.

    Hi Just wondering what date you guys having the new 88d pro 2024? Also which one is better? Is 88d pro. 2nd or the 3rd gen?

    Comparison between The new Spro and 77pro, which one has more power anyone?

    • @StevenYUMO
      @StevenYUMO 7 месяцев назад +2

      It is hard to say which racket out of the two will generate more power. It would depend on a player's technique and play style to see which one out of the two would be better suited for them. Some may benefit from the more flexible 77 shaft while some with the stiffer 88 shaft.

      For singles, as far as i know:
      Yonex: Astrox 100zz kurenai / astrox 88d pro / nanoflare 1000z
      Victor: Ryuga metallic / DriveX 10 metallic / upcoming ryuga 2 pro
      Lining: Axforce 100 / 3D calibar 600c / axforce 90

    just a question. from your point of view what is more powerful? The 88d pro or axforce 100 4u? I just sold my axforce 100 3u cause I can't handle the weight.

    • @StevenYUMO
      @StevenYUMO 4 месяца назад +1

      Hello John! While comparing the two, Axforce 100 would excel in the power aspect while 88D pro would out speed it. As the rackets are head heavy already, I think 4U would be more suited on average.

      @@StevenYUMO thanks Steven! I just went with (pre-ordered) the ryuga metallic. I love head heavy rackets, I think I'll just compensate by strengthening my arms and shoulder.

    How is the 88d pro in terms of speed and defense? Also which of the two rackets would you recommend as an all-round racket for someone who plays singles as well as doubles.

    • @StevenYUMO
      @StevenYUMO 7 месяцев назад

      In the video I tried the 4U version and it was fine for me. Wasn't too heavy nor clunky but I am coming from a background of other head heavy rackets. 88S would likely excel in defense and speed though as it is not as head heavy as the 88D. In my opinion, I'd choose the 88D but that is based on personal preference.

      You can certainly use the rackets in either singles or doubles! There is no label saying one MUST use a certain racket for singles while another for doubles. Comes down to preference.
