Thanks for your review . Two days after seeing this I went and purchased my first Saber from Vire Sabers . Then ten days later I did a third order and did a mix -match improvement . I would love to send you some pictures of my Saber .
Great review as always! Vire Sabers is my favorite LGT retailer. I still like Crimson Dawn, but Vire Sabers selection of parts just can't be beat. And I'm always amazed how quickly they respond to questions and ship stuff considering it's just a Husband/Wife team.
I was super excited when the news came out about this dueler set up from the main LGT page and then proceeded to never look into again until yesterday lmao
Huh,I may have to check them out real soon. Definitely getting some Kyle katarn vibes with the hilt design you went with, sounds great too and the options are really slick for an RGBX,stuff you usually see on a proffie,GH etc.
Hi Paladin, that font "The Dark Times" is the one I mentioned to you and Paradigm in your livestream a while back - the Highlander vibe font. It was on my Padawan Outpost saber when I got it back after I had a bit of work done on it. And believe me after designing over 400 ASP sabers in my time you will eventually have people saying "Oh your VHC creation is the same as my design I came up with!".
@@GrayPaladin Ah you say that until someone like me does something "different". With the ASP system I used a windowed emitter with a blade plug to create a Crystal Chamber pommel....years before SF even offered Crystal chambers!
Got me a whole Vire Sabers package in just this week, really happy with what I chose =] Their KAM saber, was gonna be empty but was sent installed and all for me so that works out. Yeah I don't really care for that new Serenity font as much as I thought I would either, smoothswing is too quit x.x I have mine set on The Count at the moment so. Hopefully the next board update will have even different fonts and better smoothswings
That's a nice hilt, seems to have a Kyle Kattern look about it. The smooth swing seems less echoey than the v2, which is a very noticeable improvement.
Unfortunately not. But, I can swap the ports for you if you need. Tho after parts labor, and shipping back and forth, it's often easier to just get the round ported switch, unless the type C is built into your saber
Does anyone have a clue where to get a new firmware for that thing? And is it compatible with any app? Because my RGBX 3.0 gets recognized as "saber" or sometimes just with its MAC adress in the bluetooth settings of my phone but i dont know how to establish any type of connection.
Great review!😁
It brings my wife and I so much joy to see happy unboxing videos like this! Thank you for sharing!❤️
Thank you!
"The Second" sounds like the sword is growling , almost like it has its own voice . Way cool .
Nice. I just need to cave in and get my own saber made at some point too :P I agree with the brass bit though should be pointed on the bottom
Simply gorgerous and affordable thank you
DUDE, i have like 4 of them tiny keychain lightsabers! :) Their saber builder is so freaking fun!
You could be a tiny Grevious 😆
@@GrayPaladin 😆😆😆(COUGH COUGH) "JEDDDIIII SCUUMMM!" 😆😆😆

Nice and I'm glad the review helped. I'd like to see your creation. My email address is in the bottom of the description.
dang, that key chain lightsaber have more color than a ultrasaber.
😆😆 So true
It's electronics probably aren't held together by tape either.

i agree...i think crimson dawns site is better...vires parts selections is better....
Crimson Dawn is still my go to for LGT items, but now I'm adding Vire to my shortlist. Parts and accessories are more abundant there.
I was super excited when the news came out about this dueler set up from the main LGT page and then proceeded to never look into again until yesterday lmao
Thanks for sharing this cool saber! Your choice of switch section really tied the two finishes together nicely, a good eye indeed:)
Thanks. I'm glad it turned out well. Would've been a disappointment if the sections didn't work well together.
i think at 12:08 is my fav soundfont that i am going to use for my saber
That's Second Sister by Kyberphonic.
@@GrayPaladin thank you i was wondering about
Sounds Good Too
Yep. If only these cores had accent swings they would have it all.
@@GrayPaladin probably with the Next Model
@@dei-wan-grey3888 I hope so
@@GrayPaladin yeh they likely will they see the Advancements pushing Forward

The new v3 is an improvement for RGBX. If it had accent swings it would be near perfect.
It's worth it to check them out.

When it comes to VHC, there are only so many configurations. People are bound to replicate others' designs.

@@fortyeth You're one of the pioneers. Not too many of those around these days.

That's a major win getting a free install! The count is s good font. I'm really hoping the next core update has accent swings.

I like that emmitter. The rest of that saber is pretty cool too. Do I get it or the new Mace saber?
I would go for Mace.
Do you know if you can fit the LGT cores with the charging port you have into their new Type-C switch housings?
I don't know, but my guess is no.

I expected a deed to a GD Bowling alley for Christ’s sake
😆
If you message them on Facebook they will show you how the parts look together.
Good to know. Thanks
@@GrayPaladin Of course my friend.

I didn't think RGBX v3 was upgradeable. The nexus xeno3 can take firmware updates though.
I purchase a lightsaber with rgbx ,what dose that mean ? I understand rgb,,, what dose x stand for ?
X is there designation for smoothswing.
@@GrayPaladin Excellent ! Thanks for that !! asked a few people with no response, thanks for defining....
Is this tri Cree ?
nope it's RGB saber
tri cree is RGB. It's the time of LED used.
