I have the exact same thoughts. The boring looking emitter is better for spinning and more secure because the blades goes in deeper. The s curve emitter is secure but the shallow depth would be concerning for dueling. I actually wrapped some leather at the choke point and it provides better comfort and grip for spinning

Recently Vire sabers has been selling a choke extension that you can add below the emitter. Makes the S curve emitter deeper and with a choke. Best of both!

Wait a minute... I recognize that quick connect coupler... how did you get it to work with VHC/VHS parts?

I epoxy/resin glued an LGT part into an MHS part. So one end is VHC/LGT compatible and the other is MHS compatible.

when i look at lightsabers like the sabers form the movie all of them are weak at the emitter

Very true, but for practical purposes, toy lightsabers have to have a bit more girth for stability.

    Hey there.
I was wondering where you aquired the thumb screws and what size they are?
(especially the length and hole size) Thanks in advance!!

Hey DJ, for these emitters specifically I but them from Outer Rim Saber parts. The size is M4 and the length can differ between emitters. The red ones I have in this video are 4mm, but they are really close to the hilt. 6mm is a better length and you can always file them shorter

Where'd you get the o-rings at?

What size o-rings did you use?

I can't remember if they were 13 or 14, but either will work. Even size 17 will fit and probably be easy to put on. I used the smaller size for a tighter fit
