Aw thanks for listening, Schwabs. It looks like ur new to fishing academy, so imma tell u some tips 😂 (not the most experienced fisherman, but I guess I know some) :
- first, size does matters. The bigger the fish the bigger the reward (preferably starting from 1.4 or 1.someting)
- try going for the salmons, Schwabs I'm not sure abt this but I think they give u more rewards. U should try fishing in yeti cave (maybe not now)... Gigantic salmons spawn there well I never try fishing there but I'm sure that's possible
- the bait matters leech blood gives u the lowest reward, sap a bit higher, honey (never tried that one), and amber which obviously the best bait
- ik it hurts using amber as a bait, but hey it's worth it right? I mean I got addicted to fishing, I see it's kinda getting to u as well and by the time u find another big fish, u should be able to watch another ad to get amber
- last, patience is the key. I'm sure u have a lot of time to spend... Right? You'll get some black pearls eventually. I mean you've done some insane breeding which takes literally weeks... Heh, I don't have time for that 😂

I love fishing in ark. You can get some really nice saddle and other blueprints. Also amber is definitely the best to use for bait and I find that salmon give the best loot.

Hey schwalbe use a trick for Griffin taming
...1- trap the Griffin.
2- take rest on bed
3- after wake up.. you knock the Griffin and you see a magic - the food bar of Griffin is totally empty
4- use blam and kibble ....... with this process you tame a Griffin in a few seconds
The pipes only start to gather sap if you open their inventory. The distance doesn't matter

1:45 If you want, for some unknown reason, you can tame a chali too, since they eat beer.
You could also tame an archa (I think I writed correctly), with chitin, and leave it on wandering on the redwoods for it to automatically collect sap

The fact that the fish became a theri the moment after dying-
SCHWALBE trees put out 1 sap every 20 min. Adding taps just increases storage, for optimized sap gains spread out taps.

You should tame theri, with theri you can get fiber and wood and some resouces too. With casteroides you can just get wood

4:57 use beaver damns, and later you can trap a beaver with grifin and get lots of wood
alternative ark mobile plot twist: the legendary 4.0x megapiranha is the Overseer but has never shown itself and instead has its minions, sizes 3.0+ come and try to defeat Schwalbe but every time they appear they cause weird weather effects to the ark eventually leading to a thunderstorm happening and the fish king himself to spawn in and do the deed himself.

Fishing in ark is great for bps and other loot. Its really great that they added it to the game
Theri! They are strong, fiber and wood gatherer, plus from some bushes you can grt TONS of carrots with theri fiber collection attack!

the pipe will only start produce sap after you open it at least one time after you place it for the first time, same with the beehive, and they will still produce sap or honey even you are far away
How sap tap works is the fill only at a time place them on other trees will help
So... the best baits to fish a big coelacanth is the bloodsucker's blood and the big ones will take time to fish. But I never got fishing one more than 2.3 because it was really hard to pull.

Tame a theri, it's super useful as a it gathers lots of hide too apart from wood and fiber, and it can also flight really well
Between the theri and the beaver I say tame whichever higher level comes first.
You don’t need to be in area for sap production.. when you place the tree sap tap you need to access its inventory once to activate it to start production. Otherwise it won’t produce .The two started,producing earlier cause you checked its inventory and other dint coz you dint access them. Now all will automatically produce Sap as you have checked all ..

I have no idea what any of these mods mean, but they all sound cool and I would love to find out what they are by watching Schwalbe play them.
Get a their because they are a thatch, wood, berries,meat and hide all rounder.
Also salmon only eat leach blood.

So, like other people saying in the comments section,just get the theri cause It collects almost everything at a good rate.You just need to use normal berries for a doedic after that since stone is the only thing that theri can't gather.Also I said in the three episodes ago and I'll say it again.Just get a high lvl spider,if your only use for cave bugs is to speed run snow cave.You'll have less cancer to deal with.Also the chance to drop black pearl from fishing is 1.2%.Yeah I'm not kidding.So,I suggest you to deal with alternative solutions for black pearls if you home on getting arthro.
Schwalbe, i think you can get black pearls more often from smaller fish, also other materials.
Fun fact: in Pc or console, Fishing with a high quality Fishing Rod is pretty Op, the loot table is similar to red cave drops. The problem is, to get a high quality Fishing Rod in Pc or console, you need to kill either Alpha tusos or Alpha mosas to get ascendant or mastercraft Fishing Rods

Btw you don’t need to be near the taps at all it’s just placement. Four one tree two getting four wait a while longer the others will have more or the two will have the maxed 15 I just leave my taps all along the trees I usually do the 4 but I wait way longer

You should be placing two sap collector per tree since the production rate decreases depending on the amount of collectors. The more colectors the slower they produce sap
When u place a sap tap u need to access its inventory first so that it will work,I think its a bug or something
seems pretty logic for me, a theri is the way to go. they are good on thatch fiber and wood. so really interesting
You could use honey for fishing and it is better than sap(that's what ark wiki says)
But while fishing the only reward I got was a metal ingot and gunpowder while using sap I dont recommend using sap or fishing in ark mobile easy mode I mean dinos 1 to 30 and casual building

Tame a diplo (the aquatic one). If you put levels into oxygen it becomes a scuba tank without durability.
Pls get a theri there my fav and then you could tame up a extra herb like a dodiec

exit your single player and hit “manage save data” then hit save on an open save. then delete your current save. then restore the save you made to your current. re open single player

I know jerky is hard to make now, but it will be possible to do it later.

This is how ark works when you wanna get trash and rods you get awesome loot and also please tame a theri they're way cooler and can gather things

Edit : im sure you would like to choose theri. It can gather a lot of hide, wood, and fiber, ik dire bear can gather fiber a lot, but unlike in PC, sometimes they provides the a small amount (like 3-10 fibers) fiber, beaver can gather wood and berries, i mean beaver can reduce wood weight, but i dont think next time you would make a wood barriers though, for me personal, its better to pick theri first, and about the rod its a kinda crappy :V im not insulting you, but i had a 1200 durability ascendant fishing rod in my save
You should tame a therizino. As i remember its the best getherer in the game, or mochops was the best. Anyway, therizino is aslo a very good dmg dealer.
