I was to understand that Prince William donated thousands of pounds to help start the Invictus games yet I have not heard many people recognize that donation.

I listened to a military guy saying H wanted to train as a pilot. The RF didn't want him to, but finally everyone figured he was too dumb to succeed so let him have a go and surprise, surprise he excelled and won his wings. I believe he did get to fly as pilot for awhile.

Correction for Richard. Harry never passed his pilots exam. His only "flying" was as a co-pilot. As my husband was a helicopter pilot in the military, there is a difference. He, Harry, was not in the Apache long. Yes, I know he served overseas for any that will jump on me for that, but what is coming out now from his "chums" in his unit. He was not a hero by any means. I agree that their titles should be removed and Harry should not be in line as a consillor should the King be failing for whatever reason. All Harry ever did while he served in the military was sit in his bunker and play video games. He was heavily guarded. The only time Harry got in an Apache helicopter was for a photo op! He never killed anyone. (The others there called him "Bunker Harry").
William risked his life almost daily as a helicopter air ambulance rescue pilot after leaving the forces. Flying in horrendous conditions and landing in very dangerous places all in order to save the lives of people who suffered serious injuries on mountains, at sea etc etc

Much has been glamourised of Haz's days in the Army and tours in Afghanistan. Most of it has been untrue to allow Haz to maintain some dignity being a Royal. From true stories, if he hadn't been a Royal and the Queen pathing the path for her grandson to serve in the Army. If everything had been true, hecwoukd have remained past ten years and would have elavated much further in rank. Sadly, like everything in Haz's life, he hasn't excelled in anything he has tried to do. Serving as a Senior Royal was about all he was capable of doing with out embassing his family. William on the other hand was very much a successfully qualified Pilot in helicopter search and rescue. From what I assume, seeing him take control of a helicopter during the Pandemic, he has kept his qualifications current. To date, Haz appears to be the only military washout as a Royal. It's difficult being appointed a Commander in Chief for a Royal male, not having served in the Military, successfully. Military Service for Royal men has sort of been mandatory as a passage of rites.

Much has been glamourised of Haz's days in the Army and tours in Afghanistan. Most of it has been untrue to allow Haz to maintain some dignity being a Royal. From true stories, if he hadn't been a Royal and the Queen pathing the path for her grandson to serve in the Army. If everything had been true, hecwoukd have remained past ten years and would have elavated much further in rank.
Sadly, like everything in Haz's life, he hasn't excelled in anything he has tried to do. Serving as a Senior Royal was about all he was capable of doing with out embassing his family.
William on the other hand was very much a successfully qualified Pilot in helicopter search and rescue. From what I assume, seeing him take control of a helicopter during the Pandemic, he has kept his qualifications current. To date, Haz appears to be the only military washout as a Royal. It's difficult being appointed a Commander in Chief for a Royal male, not having served in the Military, successfully. Military Service for Royal men has sort of been mandatory as a passage of rites.

Harry has ruined it all for me, and I still refuse to renew my Netflix account after they did that horrifying show, especially where Meghan showed such disrespect to our beloved late Queen Elizabeth.

Cannot get the Invictus site up....(lots seem to be going on,Megan out and 2 others in the closing but still H & M are claiming all is OK and they both will be there etc. Don't know what to believe any more).so suggest we all email the Canadian Forces for Vets and ask them to forward directly our support for the Vets. Similarly all countries should do this to support their own troops.
