hello, i am inabke to nderstand the termenology used, csn i send you email ,to get what trwstment termenology used for the treatmrnt given to me for imformation?
Hiya! Good question, ideally to avoid any confusion it would be easier if neither were abbreviated, but the BNF recommends that micrograms should not be abbreviated to "mcg" as "mcg" and "mg" look too similar - so convention is that micrograms should be written in full :) For more information refer to this: bnf.nice.org.uk/guidance/prescription-writing.html Happy Revisings! :)
Thank you for the helpful video Sureena! If there was a rx for a child under 12 years, and the age was missing but the DOB was present, would this be sufficient and legally valid? Or would the prescriber need to add the age in?
Your smiles are genuine and infectious! Thanks for the video. Very professional.

No it would be valid. The age is in the dob
No you need the age for child under 12 but I think you could add it yourself as the dob is there
