Massive thanks again to @gyrodos5598 for working with me to put this together. He’s an incredibly skilled player and I learned a lot from this collab. If you’re not already subscribed to him, go over to his channel RIGHT NOW and show him some love. Link in the description And also keep an eye out for Part 2 of this little series we’ve been working on which will be out some time within the next couple days
Thanks u both for creating this video! One question btw, when bagging, is it basically just chaining through dodge items then coming back on the 3rd lap at sections with most shortcuts?
@@mlglyololeddie7394 it's actually the opposite, you wanna be chaining for the most part on laps 1 and 2 and then using your dodges to predict shock on lap 3. However, it all depends on the situation in front of you and no 2 races are gonna be the exact same.
Hey I got a question I just started Mario kart and Nintendo switch online I have learnt all the basics and my question is what’s the best combo with my limited vehicles (so far I am using shy guy streedle cloud glider)
@@OctyDaOctopus your combo seems just fine, you can try out a bunch of different combos to get a feel for what you like. You'll end up unlocking all the combo parts in no time :)
Loved this ! Crazy the different skill set required to be good at online vs TT, big props to letting ur lounge races be analyzed under the microscope, this helps anyone trying to get better with stuff like item management rear view and relative positional awareness which we’d usually not think about when grinding out a track for TT
Great video! Big shoutout to gyrados for offering prudent advice so constructively and patiently. It's one thing to know the strats and skills; it's another to teach them well. He did both.
Great collaboration! Gyrodos and Cynda I think are the best in the US. Good for experts/tryhards and pros to collaborate more. A lot of us don’t know how pros think.
Thank you so much! And yeah, he has a video on his channel where he analyzes some of Kusaans races and as soon as I watched it I knew he’d be perfect to work with I definitely learned a lot from this collab
Love the video! My only suggestion would be for you to play out the clips before breaking them down. That way, we have an idea of what's in store and why Gyro's advice is pertinent.
@@Bayesic I personally find it more enticing to play tracks that give you a better chance to succeed on than ones that give everyone else a better chance to succeed on
I actually prefer picking tracks that I enjoy and can win from any spot like Wild Woods or Madrid, because if I ever get hit out of first on Wario Stadium, which is very likely to happen, I will not only get a bad spot but also not have much fun during the rest of the race.
@@Bayesic I'm expecting that you know the 3 main worries of the algorithm by now: for people to click on the video, for people to watch as far as possible, and for people to like, subscribe and comment on the video. This video has a great title and thumbnail and the content is engaging. Great idea. Try teaming up with JPG next time as you have thought about it.
I have just watched a Gyridos video on "How to Get Good at: DK Summit" and after watching it, I realised how undetailed your tutorial was compared to it. (I congratulate you on the many hundreds of hours spent on this series but please be honest with me that it wasn't showing your full potential.) There is no harm in after releasing Wii Rainbow to have another shot at "Jank Jank Mountain" as it is clear that he, afteer practising enough on it has got great at the track. Please consider it; it would be beneficial; I'm sure of it!!
Personally I don’t think it’s lacking in detail at all at least as far as driving the track is concerned Yeah I don’t go over item tips and stuff but that’s cause that’s not what my videos are for
@@Bayesic Maybe I get that opinion because I see most players being able to land their kart in a consistent place every time near the boost panel, at the bottom of the double cut, while your kart lands in a different spot each lap.
@@Log1eI3ear yeah I’m not saying that my time is great lol but I’ve noticed that people who consistently get on top of the orange boost ramp tend to approach the cut from a much wider angle than I do in my personal best, kind of similar to what I do in my “safe” version that I go over in the tutorial It makes the cut itself more consistent, but the approach ends up being way slower
Dude I have no idea why RUclips keeps putting your comments under held for review, but sorry for missing this and the other one I’m about to reply to But yeah I had a great time working with gyrodos on this one and I’m looking forward to running more videos like this in the future

can link him for twitch , that is where most of his training videos are at

This video really is gold! I started taking this game more seriously with bayesic and now there's Tier 3, wow!
as a player who just is just starting to get into lounge after playing MK8 since 2014, this is a huge help!
this is so good, would love to see more of this!
Awesome. I always learn something new.
Great content. Super insightful.
This was a really good video and I learned a lot . Please do more of these with gyrados.
Very helpful stuff in this video
gyrodos is #1 in underratedness, absolute masterpiece

lounge sets with more uncommon tracks are always better times

Coming from c3 as @Buster. Great video the tips helped me along with you
I also want to ask if you are going to include your updated predictions on each track in your track ranking video with evidence from the google form.

Omg someone finally noticed lol

I should warn you. People in lounge seem to like DK Summit :)
Apparently lol
it's ok he's used to it from all the viewer races

I destroyed my own mental health for this video so that you wouldn't have to

I'm guessing that Bayesic is targeting an audience that doesn't play competitively, therefore spending too much time on each tutorial isn't good.
