From a technical point of view, the Shaman King comparison is pretty accurate
Kinda rubbish show though. I gave up after whenever the main enemy joined their school

First of all, Ramon, really? You got beef with Cayden Cailean? The orphan who became a god, made his sex worker friend his herald, doesn’t need pretentious cathedrals built in his honor, only asks his worshippers raise a pint in his name (like come on, the guy is way more chill than he needs to be!)! You got beef with this guy!? Meanwhile Ioroi became a god by working out, meditating and reading philosophy….like literally by becoming the most boring person, he became a god. But you got beef with Cayden….. if your next drink turns to Budweiser. You know why…
Anyway, theory: The god to die might be Asmodious as he’s the only deity who is also in D&D. Because of the ORC they might be giving him the axe. But that’s just what my friend group thinks.
The new classes seem pretty dope! I’m excited to see how they play! As for the Exemplar, if you know the lore, when starfall happened, the moon goddess who was also the god of magic, tried to block the meteor, and died as a result. Imagine that god-blooded stardust falling from the heavens. Could be another way for an exemplar to come about.
Finally, look at the board game “Spirit Island” they also have that wicked naming convention. Some of the Spirits you can play as are named “The Vital Strength of the Earth”, “Bringer of Dreams and Nightmares”, “Wandering voice keening Delirium”. There is also a power called “Scream disease into the wind” which sounds horrific and cathartic for a spirit whose island is getting wrecked.

Yooooooooooo. Lol I definitely deserve the heat for my comments! Cayden is definitely a vibe, but just kind silly to me. Maybe I need to look into him more, but Asmodeus would make sense being tied to D&D.

I also heard of Spirit Island. Its on the list of things to pick up. Definitely the names are so sick.

@@WinWithDice lol The absurdity of Cayden’s story is part of its charm. So many real world stories are too silly/dumb to be true: The Erfurt Latrine Disaster (whole bunch of nobles fell into a pit of sewage and drowned), in the 13th century the pope declared war on cats (because cats were considered satanic at the time), in 1919 there was the great Molasses Spill that killed 21 people. History is full of wild things that sound fake, but really did happen.
