Not only do you have an excellent taste and it is a joy to see this beautiful chateau regain the beauty it deserves, but I also enjoy the passion for detail, art, architecture and history that you convey with humour and simplicity.

With all the videos on chateau restoration this video reminds me that landscape and garden design is the chef's kiss that makes the magic of a chateau. A beautiful garden that is well thought out is both meditative and romantic. You can really lose yourself and think you are in another time with a beautiful garden. Also it's such a creative art form. I enjoy the very intimate parts of your gardens and the wildness of the forest near by. You are creating an environment people are going to love going to for generations to come, what an amazing legacy.

This chateau restoration is such a refreshing change from all those ridiculous British people on RUclips, that moved to France and bought a crumbling mess of a 'chateau' and then discover they cannot afford the DIY costs to renovate, so they make endless videos begging complete strangers online to donate their hard earned money to pay the monthly bills. One delusional woman posing as a princess, has been begging people for years, to 'help save her home' and she gets over half a million dollars donated every year. She even has the nerve to buy wall paper for her washrooms, that costs 1 thousand dollars per roll! If you're going to renovate a chateau, this guy is the classy way to do it! RESPECT.

Everything you have done to the chateau itself and the gardens which you have described here is a testament to the results of intense thoughtfulness, research and organization. The gardens you have taken us through here today are stunning and have been realized so very quickly. I am sure that all of your viewers are pleased that someone like yourself has taken on the task of bringing this chateau not only back to life but also to a flourishing state. I am also impressed by your command of the English language. Well done for those of us poor pathetic people who have not reciprocated by learning French!

Like a woman's skin, your 'Pierre de Ronsard' needs to be nourished from within. In early Spring, I apply 1 cup Alfalfa meal, 1/2 cup Organic Rose Fertilizer and 2 Tbs Sul - Po - Mag mixed together. Just once a year and it's a wonderful boost for both the plant and rose blooms. In Sydney, we are able to purchase a complete rose product called 'Sudden Impact for Roses' so I need only add a cup of Alfalfa meal to this - not sure why, but Alfalfa makes a difference.
In the Vatican's private garden grow elegant, fragrant, disease resistant white roses called 'Pope John Paul II'. I have two plants and I love them, they bloom and bloom. Have a little look, perhaps put a bare root in a pot somewhere and see what you think. And a great story to tell friends as you share your garden. Thank you for your videos.
