Anyone telling you not to call it a bay needs to get themselves re-educated. Not because the name is 'Port' Antonio, does not mean the port is not in a bay. A port is a man-made structure to load, unload, and dock ships. This from Google: "It lies on a bay divided by a promontory into East and West harbours; the West Harbour is sheltered by Navy Island." @pojo, you are right in saying 'bay'
Wow, the trip from Lucea (pronounced Lucy) to Port Antonio is long by car so, much longer by bus. Reason number elleventeen why I'm never in that part of the island 😢😅
Hey PJ another great video. As for the curry you were having. It's actually originally from India. Actually, curry was brought to Jamaica from India by the Indentured Laborers who were brought to Jamaica by the British. So, the guys were trying to tell you the curry root know as coriander, turmeric, cumin are the natural roots that is blended into curry and adopted to the Jamaican palate. Hence, Jamaican curry is different from true Indian curry that has a lot more spices added to it. Also, Lucea is pronounced Lucy. Stay Safe.
Breakfast looks good fam. Lol. That was dumpling and not festival. Similar but not the same. I love the side conversations by the folks talking about politics then teaching you about curry.
