I really like the dynamic between Kirk and James in this one. They’re both on the same rhythm but play slightly differently and yet they compliment each other well and create a masterful mind morphing performance.
Sadly missed one of the greatest bass players to grace this world long live cliff
Damn right
La mejor canción del máster of puppets
First time I hear Kirk playing the solo almost properly.
Ah! May 23rd💜 35 years today!!
Rest in Paradise Cliff!! Thank you for your contribution to great Metallica songs.
Never knew this
😲
Que buena cancion.....la encontre en guitar hero metallica...me volo el cerebro
It’s weird how Lars doesn’t drum this way for disposable heroes since the 90’s
True.
probably got sick of playing the same way for nearly 40 years ig
cause hes lazy and old
He played it best during the Cliff era as it was closest to the studio recording.
Tremendo!!
Thrash Metal Classic 🤘🤘
Awesome upload thanks!
You said in description that this is the third and the last time they played this with Cliff. First one was from Metal Hammer fest year earlier, then which date was the second performance?
New Year's Eve 1985.
That was also the first time they performed Master of Puppets.

I wonder what song Cliff was playing in the picture
Probably anesthesia w that pedal
@@Ricknback or call of ktulu because, judging from the background picture, they're still on RTL tour...
Lars mostly played his Drum parts in this correctly, interesting.
the fast part becomes a mess, missing cymbal crashes, bass kicks...
@@jistikoff2361 yeah nah, the drumming sounds great in this. who gives a fuck if he doesnt play it exactly to the album...you should work for mtv or tmz
You'll notice that the best live performances of any given song will be during the supporting tour, because that's when the song is most fresh in their minds because it's current and they would have spent countless hours in the studio not long before the tour laying down those tracks bit by bit.
