people said sooo much shit about st.anger, but when metallica came back, then the fans were crazy and the sold out shows were amazing.
I think the vocal minority made people think it was more hated than it actually was.
@@HarrisonBowman Is actually very Hated, but you know what they say "Is better been hated that ignored" (Actually only i say that), the thing is that even if St Anger is so hated it made noise when was released and the people new Metallica was back, it made so much noise that people don´t realize how bad Dance of death was due to that album been buried by St Anger LOL
@@antoniocenteno1483 I didn't say it wasn't hated a lot, but my point is it's also liked by a lot too, I mean even most of the st anger music videos have more likes than dislikes, a lot more likes than dislikes, that says something. The vocal minority is strong, but not stronger than the actual numbers.

St.Anger is an album I appreciate for its almost raw and chaotic feel. You can sense the rage emanating from the song.

Death Magnetic & Saint Anger are totally different albums. Anger is about the bad feeling, the shit, the rage and all this stuff metallica´s been holding since they begun, that explode in the Saint Anger album with the left of Jason.
Death Magnetic is the new age of Metallica, stronger and really influenced by Rob Trujillo.
Both kickass.

Yea at anger is a Bette rap I’m tho to me, it’s honestly up there with the best of Metallica in my opinion. Drums a little odd but not enough to not make it an awesome album

Also the frantic performance in copenhagen 2019 is quite good as well! But my favorite is still their libson one

I think what people don't realise, is that if thrash metal was invented in the 2000s, and this song was on Metallica's first album, they would still be considered the pioneers of thrash. And that is an impressive testament to them.
Interlet nnamlap Nope. Though a few of the riffs in this song are okay most are just very boring, the lyrics are fucking brain dead, the way the song progresses is nonsensical, it has no solo, on the album it also has horrible production and horrible vocals.
Metallica were an incredible pioneer of thrash with their first 4 albums, and some of the black album and half of hardwired are good but they fell off decades ago.

St. Anger was made to compete with the other Hard Rock Bands. Korn, SOAD, Rage, Staind, Chevelle. And so on. Many people didn't like the album, too mellow (so they say) I didn't have a problem with it.

It's metal, no one can doubt that. Load / Redload was hard rock. I quite liked it as well. I think you could still argue that St. Anger is thrash metal, which is where they originally came from. Just cause it doesn't have solos does not make it un-thrash. I like literally all Metallica albums...except the thing with Lou Reed.

Folks that dislike st. Anger lack the mental compacity to recieve or accept the true emotion of genuine the art of music created to display motivational and manageable hate or symptoms of madness.
It's like this if your truly a Metallica fan you would also know that these guys could write a disco,rap/hip hop or even country love or heart break song and it would still enter the ears as. something great and listen worthy.
I'd be willing to say Metallica could do new kids on the block song and still be head bang worthy.

St Anger is honestly underrated as fuck, there’s some songs I don’t like, but this song, the title track St Anger, Unnamed Feeling, Sweet Amber and Some Kind of Monster are all my personal favorites.
