Video 1: Early training mistakes. Video 2: Difference between a cocker and a spaniel But it was hard to choose really.the videos started as I got my pup. They saved me at times. I would watch them through the night as I laid by the crate. The information is so focussed and practical. Some trainers like the sound of their own voice and enjoy criticising the owners. Chris just gives you the training with a pup. Showing you it can be done. I’m grateful.
My favourite video is Charlie’s vlog episode 1, and differences between a cocker and a springer spaniel! Love your videos they’re really helpful to me and my 8 weeks old cocker pup
Favourite videos: 1. The ultimate guide to fun with your 8 week old puppy 2. Charlie’s vlog episode 1 Really helpful to be able to pick out videos at different ages of the dog to make sure you’re doing the appropriate activity 👍🏻
Hi Chris, I'm getting my new cocker in early July, so my favourite videos are Charlie's early ones where your bonding with him and getting him excited to retrieve the bummy, love your vids 👍
I’ve really enjoyed your videos from the start. Two videos I have really enjoyed and learnt from are : Charlie’s Vlog 9- picking a big retrieve ( you can not under estimate this little fellers determination to please) Teaching a Gundog to pick cold game So important to get that retrieving in them .
Hey Chris, here’s my entry for your latest competition giveaway for the puppy/intermediate pack. My two stand out videos of yours have to be “What is a working cocker?”From a year ago & also “training my spaniel in the first 18 months”. Like with all your videos these both are extremely informative, as a first time dog owner you’ve reassured us on making the right decision, put our mind at ease & taken us through some vital points for what to expect and also realistic expectations. Love your approach to your teaching & how you work with the dogs, keep up the great content mate 👍 hope to win the comp 💪
Hey Chris, here from Holland. I watch all your video's over and over again. But the most important i think is Training your Spaniel in the early weeks. Here you explain what is important in those weeks and why! Now i understand why, and i will follow all the training tips and tricks! Thanks! Judith.
Hi Chris first video is ‘how teach stop whistle’ recently got a 3 year old springer who was let loose for couple years and this is helping bring his training back. Second video is ‘close enough is not good enough, it needs to be spot on’ this video has helped me realise how strict I need to be with the dog, he’d a tendency to creep when I stopped him which has started to get bettter the last week and can see an improvement already. Thanks for all the videos they are all very helpful.
Oooh that’s a tough one as there is a lot of excellent videos on here. For me if I had to pick two the first would have to be what your video on choosing a puppy. As a total newbie to owning a dog I found this video extremely useful especially all the info around the kennel club and what to look out for and different dogs for different needs. So glad I found this video before I purchased a dog and very happy I was able to find a kc registered pup. Then the second video would have to be toilet training for puppy’s. Again has helped me massively already, I am still early days with my pup but feel like I have a constant stream of support with these videos. The praising really does work and as suggested I have set up a garden pen to help keep pup less distracted by plants etc.
My favourite or rather most helpful is introducing gunshots episode also Charlie's vlog ep12. Also I purchased a puppy pack from you which helped me loads, my 7 month chocolate cocker bitch now works on the exact same whistles as yours. Can't wait to get her out next season now..
