That made me laugh 😂 I actually reviewed 3 chairs. My desks are from IKEA and there are so many reviews online. I thought it will be helpful to review the chairs because it’s harder to try them in store nowadays.
Both Hyken and the Series one are very comfortable for ergonomics, I would say they are pretty similar in that regard. The controls are easier and assembly much easier for the Series one.
@@AKTechIT Yes, unfortunately neither the Hyken nor the Series One is for taller people- I think I mention it in the video around 4:30 :( You can perhaps try the Dexley or the Ikea Markus?
hi, do you think the back frame will last? I see it is only held together by that one point in the bottom part of the back frame. I tend to lean on my chairs a lot and I've broken 3 or 4 backs (of course they were cheap Chinese chairs...) But I'm wonder if the frame is plastic... I don't want to break another chair :(
It better for such as an expensive chair 😃 Steelcase is a very reputed brand and these chairs come with a long warranty, so I think you can rest assured.
I hate the Hyken. 1 year later and it's already fallen apart so much. One of the arms snapped in half. The other arm frayed apart. The foam, the foam under the seating mesh came apart within months. Fuck this chair lol
i have had it for 3 years and i could still sell it as new its in such good shape... Been my full time chair for too long tho and i am now looking to upgrade for comfort reasons.
Thanks for the advice. I listen to the video on my speakers when editing, so the music doesn’t seem to overlap on the speech. But I think the narrower soundstage on phones compresses them together. At least that’s my novice understanding. But I’ve tried to keep this in mind lately. I’d love it if you listen to this and let me know how it sounds: ruclips.net/video/pMfHX1ILeEg/видео.html
@@deepspeak2513 That one is perfect bro much better. The fact that you are taking criticism to improve your content means you are ahead of 95% or more of creators and deserve to grow. Thanks for this video and your content. I was on a phone when that was going on so it must have been the compression.
If you use the headrest, it might be too low. If you don’t then it might work fine. I know a few very tall people who were given this by their employer, and they didn’t have any issue,
Unfortunately I cannot make any changes after it’s uploaded, but it sounds a lot clearer if you use earphones or a computer speaker. The smartphone speakers compress the notes together, I think.
I got the series 1 from my employer since I was moved to full-time work from home. I didn’t have to pay anything for mine which is good. I suppose that’s one of the perks of working with America’s primer property and casualty insurance company. I love the chair but I was looking to her a HM but I don’t want to spend that much money.
this is the exact video I needed. i'm a very petite person, I think I will get the series 1. Thanks for the video
i find the hyken more comfortable without the headrest
Where’s your set up at though , my man got 2 chairs but no desk

Does the Steelcase Series 1 have tilt lock?
Which chair is better for sitting in there for long periods?

I got the hyken but it feels like it is for smaller people. I am 6 foot 185lbs, I did not feel comfortable

@@Gubers get the dexley, much better chair!

Would you say the lumbar support is more comfortable on the Hyken or the Dexley than the Series one?
I think the lumbar support is very similar but the back rest is softer and more supportive in the Series one
lower your music volume
What software do you use? I liked the sound/speech levels in your videos.
I can’t hear him talk because the music was so loud
Do you have a video describing how to disassemble the Series 1?
I haven’t disassembled it, so I don’t. But if you have a question about a specific step, I can try to explain verbally.
Can the seat depth of series 1 be adjusted further back?
Yes it can be adjusted.
Lower the music volume while you’re talking... why is it blasting while you talk about the product?

Thanks! Means a lot!
I'm 182 cms. Will this this be comfortable for my height?

If you're still able to lower your background music that would be great ..

can you adjust the lower back support?
Yes, you can move it up/down.
music too loud in relation to speech
what's with the annoying music?
Keep your leg on the table and recline. I bet you the chair will simply flip.. The center of gravity of this chair is waste.
