Logitech M720 Triathlon Mouse - Comparison with MX Master MX Anywhere and Marathon mouse
This is a video review of my favorite small-medium sized ergonomic mouse that doesn't break the bank. Additionally, it has features comparable to expensive productivity mice like the MX Master.

    Thanks, you brought some important points to light. Tell me, when you refer to the length of the mouse do you include the curved part of the mouse or just the base. Also my hand length is 8 inches - which mouse do you recommend (it's hard to try them out where I live). Tia.

      @deepspeak2513 Месяц назад

      It has been a while, and the stop isn't there anymore, so I cannot be sure, but I think the bottom stop is a bolt with a nut on the inside. If so, then you have to use a pair of pliers or wrench to hold the nut steady and unscrew the bolt with a hex key or screw driver.

    I bought an MX Master 3s without thinking much about my hand size & it's a shame that the logitech website doesn't highlight enough about the suitability of a mouse to different hand sizes, the information is there but it's not as obvious as it should be. My hand size is just shy of 19cm but Master 3s was too big for me, so I returned it after two weeks and bought an MX Anywhere 3s as the website said it's suitable for small-medium hand sizes. After 2 weeks of usage, I am finding it too small now 😂 I am trying to switch from my really old M210 (11 years old) but I feel like my hand is so used to that form factor that I wont be able to switch at all 😁 The key difference between Anywhere 3s and M210 shapewise is that the former is much flatter and shorter so I am unable to rest my palm as well as I used to, so I am thinking if an M720 or M650 would be a better choices. M560 is the closest to M210 in terms of dimensions but not so feature rich as M720 which is as programmable as Anywhere 3s. So I am a bit confused now.

      Yes, when you used a mouse for very long time, you simply become used to it and it is very difficult to change to another one. The muscle just has been formed that way. I have been using Logitech M150 wired one over 10 years and feel it is the most comfortable mouse for me.

  • @emilymoore2911
    @emilymoore2911 9 месяцев назад

    Great reviews on both chairs. I went to staples and I ended up liking the Dexley due to me being taller (5’8” 1/2) and I found the Hyken to be more narrow like you said. But I ended up getting the Dexley and it’s very comfy so far. I don’t care for the locking part for inclining because I’m using this chair for gaming so there’s no need for that feature that the Hyken has.

    How long did it last? Did it make the door weak by all the drilling?

    • @deepspeak2513
      @deepspeak2513 11 месяцев назад

      No it’s been 3 years or so and it’s used everyday without any issue. The wooden frame of the door is very sturdy and the drilling doesn’t affect it at all. Avoid drilling into the thinner section in the middle.

    Great review. I have. been using the MX Anywhere for some time but wanted to upgrade to the MX Master. I have a 6.75" hand and every time I tested the Anywhere in store it just didn't feel right. The Triathlon seems like a great size, its really unfortunately they don't improve the build quality. Do you know of any other similar sized mice, that might work for a smaller hand. I will also look into the gaming mice as well.

      I would suggest the Logitech G 502. It is always best to test them out in the store. Best Buy usually has the gaming mice out for testing the grip.

    • @deepspeak2513
      @deepspeak2513 Год назад

      Great tip. One thing to bear in mind though, the mesh allows airflow and cooling at the seat - the pillow might prevent that. Incidentally, I have been using the Hyken daily since I first made the review 3 years ago. Fortunately, I haven't experienced any rips or flattening.

    I have been using MX Master 2s for a couple of months, and I am facing pain in the palm-tumb area, and from wrist to arm below the elbow area. I am doubting that the weight of the mouse is the root cause. As I shifted from a lightweight M235 logi mouse. Was this a common problem with everyone who switched from a lightweight mouse to the MX Master series?

    • @deepspeak2513
      @deepspeak2513 Год назад

      I was a bit worried as I moved to the MX Master. However, I don't grip the mouse - I just push it around. Perhaps changing your grip to a palm grip would help?

And in general gave me a way better idea of the right way to install this mount. Can you show how you remove the bottom stop? I can't get anything on the inside to hold the screw in place. So it is not as easy as just turning the outside hex nut.

      Sorry for the late reply - but I am assuming yours is screwed in? In that case, get longer curtains and get the shower rings with ball bearings so the curtain is easier to pull even if the rod is too high. Reinstalling will lead to unsightly holes. My 2c

    • @deepspeak2513
      @deepspeak2513 Год назад

      Yes, hot glue is a great option if you can increase the surface area. For example, sticking a thin sheet of plywood to the bottom of your sink with hot glue, and screwing the end of your pull cable to the plywood (since you wouldn't want to drive a screw into your sink).
