It's more of a BBC's Sherlock where Anderson calls Sherlock a psychopath and he retorts and says he is a highly functioning sociopath sort of the thing.
They both have issues, but nothing that would put them in the psycho camp.
Mary is actually the best gambler in the series. Yumeko is just an anomaly. Together they're op.

Kirari, Ririka and Yumeko are all better gamblers than Mary. Unlike Kirari and Yumeko however, Mary isn't insane.

The problem with that is - what is going to be the plot? I mean it’s basically every time the same. I’m so in love with the characters, especially I wanna know what is going to happen to Mary, Yumeko, Kirari and Sayaka now. But the story is always the same - Yumeko wins in the end.

Me being entertained by all the twists and tense moments in this show despite not following the logic of gambling at all

I rewatched it just to listen. They spend a lot of time explaining the games so it's cool to actually understand what they do to be successful

This had got to be my favourite episode of kakegurui
Mary has become my favorite character after watching Kakegurui Twin. Watching her Rise then Fall then Rise again was something
I always like Yumeko in this anime, yet the introduction of Kakerugui Twin, made me get a little more love to Mary's chracter
the dub is actually really good unlike most animes
You hear that for a lot of dubs out there. It makes you wonder if dubs are really as bad as some people say...

I think that at the beginning they wrote down eachother debts instead of their own and then switched their boards during the game so it looked like they actually had their debts when in reality their debts were switched. But even I'm not sure, lol

なんかよく分からんけど借金額変わってるなーとか思ってた記憶あるんだけど実際夢子と芽亜里の借金額がはっきり分かるような描写あったっけ
原作での情報で申し訳ないですが夢子は1巻の西洞院さんと公式戦と、2巻の初めに3億1000万と書かれてて、芽亜里が同じく西洞院さんとの公式戦で4960万円と、2巻の借金つけかえゲームの説明の所に「私の借金は5000万」と書かれていましたよ～

In the manga we see what happened to him. He is very emaciated (skinny) and appears to be malnourished (due to his inhumane mistreatment as a fido). He is able to pay most of his debt off and tells sayaka, "I will never gamble again."

netflix you really really really don't understand, im BEGGING for a season 3
until this day, i still don't understand mary explanation but let's just take it for granted
Yumeko only reported a fraction of her full debt, and Mary reported her debt as the same amount as Yumeko’s actual debt. They were allowed to do this because, like Jun who flat out tells them he owes his friend some money, they were allowed to report their debt as any amount they want. So in the actual game Mary and Yumeko’s chip’s worth was swapped, and Sayaka says they weren’t even required to have their own board in front of them during the game, so Jun and Nanami had no idea they even pulled it off until the results were read.
