- The amazing power of slash chords can turn any chord progression in professional sounding song. By using these slash chords as inversions (C over E, D over F#, G over B, A over C#, etc.), create secondary dominant, spice up your power chord riffs, or to simplify ridiculous complex chords, any sing a song writer and rock music composer can benefit from this awesome technique. The level in this crystal clear and graphic enhanced video is from the absolute beginner level to advanced applications reaching even to modes of the melodic minor scale, like lydian augmented and the altered scale.

Please make video on Modal Modulation.
go go go !
Great lesson! No fluff just good stuff!
I love your channel! Not so many channels and video I actually learn something from, but from this one I actually do.
Many videos out there are too complicate for my level of guitar.
This will help me a lot in my song writing - being able to make cool ascending or descending bass lines to go with my chord progressions.
Thanks!!
Hi, I love your lessons and it is fantastic how you can clearly explain harmony! At 8:19 of the video, don't you think these chords are E 6-3 and G 6-4 instead ? Best regards and thank you.

MODAL MODULATION LESSON PLEASE
Stairway to the Angels?..hmm..I never heard of that.🤔🤔
:)
For the first part, I'm not sure on why we wouldn't want root notes od chords jumping around like a melody. Yeah you can invert and make them closer and smoother, but why? What is wrong with larger intervals ? Anyone ?
really just comes down to personal preference, it was more just an example to show when you might want to use a slash chord vs a regular chord. either option is musical
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. ..............................THIS LESSON KICKS ASS
Who the heck is Slash? People keep going on about him. He sounds like a weirdo.
