  • 12.6.91 33114 running round the stock at salisbury about to head to London...50018 working the 17.30 waterloo-yeovil...then 33114 running about waterloo then backing on the 18.15 to exeter...then over night went to scotland..13.6.91 .few shots of 26 038..and 26040 at motherwell on the fuel'r.

    I'm glad to find that someone else has caught 26040 on camera, as it hasn't been filmed & photographed that often (except in recent years by me! ;-) Excellent ! ! !

    hello ... very good video... i love english trains... i have some of them in 00 gauge...
    those class 33... and others like 26... 37 too... and Deltic Class 55...
    Some of them were weathered by me... to get more reality...
    i live in Argentina... I hope some day i will do a travel to know London and others cities... and obvious see those locomotives in personal way...
    Excuseme if i dont writte very good... i didnt study much to learn English...

    Poor old 26 038 and 040 look a little the worse for wear here. Two decades before, these loco were stabled at Inverness, and regularly operated to Wick...if the driver there was friendly on a Saturday, I used to get a footplate trip on the run around...happy days!

    I used vhs-c from about 94..bought a vhs-c adaptor to fit it in...then I think pinnacle studio software (analogue) then played it on a normal vhs player in to the computer,,,

    Another question if u dont mind, what kind of camcorder did u use for this 1980s, early 90s stuff? My dad has some fantastic footage from the same era but he used a JVC VHS-C camcorder, which is basically small tapes that get but inside a bigger tape in order to get played in a video machine. Any idea how it could get put on to RUclips? Thanks
