Why is dart’s face a meme!?
I really, really hope good science and research is going into this to give people who've lost limbs their limbs back.
Do you know David A. Sinclair and his works about cell resetting via 3 of the 4 Yamanaka Factors? Well, next year is targeted for the first human trial to treat glaucoma with this.
The goal isn't less than just to cure literal aging with regenerative medicine including regenerating limbs and stuff within around the next 10-15 years.
It already works very well by the way. Wish you best health and a bright future. 🤓
Based on my extensive knowledge of comic books, it will probably just turn them into big, humanoid salamanders.
@@maxburrill6192that sounds cool too, I wouldn't mind

They were shocked at first (feeling bad for cutting the lil guy’s arm) but then the quick realization that the salamander isn’t real and how they reacted to it, they laughed about how they felt for a digital salamander in the moment 😂
Savage laughter
Just imagine if we could find a way to harness that ability. Amputees, would be able to regrow lost limbs, the paralyzed could potentially walk again. No limit on human tooth loss, in short heavily damaged teeth could simply be taken out and regrown. muscular dystrophy could be a thing of the past. The list goes on.
that would be absolutely amazing! I thought the same
lol look at planaria worms. They are even more amazing in terms of regeneration
But then they would turn into vicious humanoid lizards, and Spider-Man would have to stop them.

I’m starting to realize why the doctor who became the lizard in the Amazing Spider-Man was so obsessed with this stuff. It’s fascinating!
Except he became a lizard, not a salamander. Lizards can only regrow tails too.
only if humans can do that
we can. Not with limbs but humans can regenerate small parts of their bodies, like a piece of a finger, or a nail. We don't regenerate bigger parts because it takes too much energy and requires special types of cells to remember the complex structure of the limb. Humans are too complex (not only humans, pretty much any large animal) so the amount of energy and the time that it would be needed wouldnt be worth it.
Matheus D. Rodrigues :D
Matheus D. Rodrigues br? Tu e mto bom no inglês slk
Matheus D. Rodrigues can't humans regrow their livers if part is removed for a transplant for example?
Ratchet4647 yes they can
if you get a liver transplantation your donor just gives you like a little piece of his liver and then if your body accepts it it will grow to an almost normal sized liver over time

Its amazing their limbs can grow back by itself. If someone Science could capture that to help people who lost a limb grow it back.
Just imagine what this could do for people in the world if we figured out how to replicate this.
We need to replicate fish gills for humans so we can live underwater and build a city under the ocean
We had an entire Spider-Man movie explaining why this is a bad idea

And my question is, if a lizard can only regrow a tail but a salamander can regrow a limb, why did Stan Lee create The Lizard instead of The Salamander???
Becoz Lizard is a bigger category under which Salamander itself comes.
Lizard sounds cooler.
Damn
Something not marvel related now: what if a lizard and a salamander breeded? Whould the hole thing be able to regenerate?
cuz "the lizard" sounds better
Now i am certain that being bitten by a salamander is a possible origin story of Deadpool

That kind of lecture hall energy is always fantastic.

I remember hearing about a geneticist that helped his brother regrow his fingertip after an accident. Something to the effect of applying a local immune response inhibitor and an antibiotic, this allowed the lost fingertip to regenerate to near perfection. The funding pharmaceutical prohibited any disclosure of the research, and the recipient didn't really understand the processes involved, so any and all secrets are locked away.
I love the audiences reaction to the animation.
This is just still so unbelievable. I really do hope that scientists are working on this somewhere to be applied to humans. And not just in movies.
Salamander be like: "So anyways I started regrowing"
Salamander forms a new limb, but you hear no applause. Imagine if that was a human, you would hear massive cheering. What an odd society.
Salamander: Why on earth tf they keep cutting my arm?
“It’s perfect. NOW, WE’RE GONNA CUT IT OFF”. Say what! Hahhaha
Imagine a world in which losing a hand or an arm is nothing but a minor inconvenience, something that only bothers you for two months or so until it's grown back. That would be so damn amazing. No more fear of permanent disability due to accidents.
“In fact, it’s perfect!”
“ _now we’re gonna cut it off_ “
Salamander : this is....acceptable.

If the original limb was deformed at birth, will the regenerated limb also be deformed?
If the original limb had long term injuries like missing fingers or scars, would those be present in the regenerated limb?
